The only thing that was somewhat bizarre was you get no big towels to dry yourself after a shower, only a couple of ones about the size and consistency of tea- towels! "The property is beautiful and the location is excellent. We were able to walk easily to everything we wanted to see in Gyeongju, which made exploring the area very convenient. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they provided us with fresh towels and bottles of water every day. There is also a small breakfast available at the property, which was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful stay. It was our first time staying in a traditional Korean hanok, and it made our visit to Gyeongju even more special. We absolutely loved the experience and, if we ever have the chance to return, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 😊"

"Lovely hotel with excellent staff - we loved our stay - however the room can get really warm and the temp dial didn’t work for us - otherwise a great place to stay with an extensive breaks fast buffet selection - possibly one of the best I have had. I also want to mention that my husband lost on of his headphones in an obscure hole under the vanity in the bathroom and the staff went out of their way to retrieve it. We had lost hope but they somehow managed to get it out for us. So grateful"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Good sized room, lovely breakfast & staff. It was in an extremely convenient location (a max 4 min walk from the bus station). We found it easy to walk to a majority of the historical sites, and there were some amazing restaurants nearby. Also situated next to a river – if you have a chance, please go and take a look! There is so much bird life and it’s very tranquil."

"What a beautiful, peaceful spot, well maintained, with tasty breakfast prepared by the most welcoming hosts!! It’s not everyday you wind up staying one night and yet kissing your hostess goodbye in the morning, is it?? They lent me an umbrella. They gave me grapes. They walked me to my uber as I was leaving and made sure the driver went the right way. I said I was not too hungry for breakfast and yet I ate the whole thing. Stay here. They are the best. And the bed was divine."
