「This is a gem of a hotel in a gem of a city. The property dates back to the early days of Guthrie and has been artfully updated. Our room was spacious and quiet. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The grounds are beautiful. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a piece of history.」

She went above and beyond anything we expected...It was so nice and enjoyable we will be back on our next Girls Trip in Guthrie Ok...rooms were wonderful and decorated like something out of a magazine.... 「I made a reservation for myself and my husband, the reservation was for a queen size bed and we ended up in a room with two beds and they both were very hard and uncomfortable! Which was sad because the young guy at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The breakfast choices could be a little bit better but it was not horrible by no means. Also it smells really good as soon as you walk through the front door.」

「The carpet was absolutely filthy, took shoes off at the door and walked from the beds to the bathroom and around the room and my white socks looked like i had walked 5 miles outside. No hot water in the sink only cold. $20 per pet per night, $80, was ridiculous for the condition of the room. We will not stay here again, would definitely recommend spending the extra 10-20 dollars for one of the surrounding motels/hotels.」

「They were renovating so hallways were unfinished. Had to move rooms right away because toilet did not flush well. Staff on duty handled things well and asked again how things were going. Original room and room that we moved to had both been renovated but not done well. Breakfast was good though and hotel was quiet.」

「Breakfast selections were the worst I've ever seen. We stayed with a pet and prepaid for the room to get the best possible price. At that time the web site quoted that pet costs were $50 per pet, per stay. When we arrived I was told the cost would be $75, no exceptions. I had no choice but to pay it.」

「Room - sliding door was off hinges had to put back on. Staff she was EXCELLENT Breakfast - MORE people than FOOD! i didn't' even wait to eat! It was too hot to sit in pool area, so i sat outside of the window there to watch my grand daughters swim. All in all I didn't NOT think this was worth the $$$ at all. But my son booked this room. We WON'T be back! But the girl at front desk SHE WAS EXCELLENT .....」

「The evening gal was not friendly at all. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for her and it was an inconvenience when she checked us in. She also had a couple people just hanging around. Opposite for the morning staff they were great. Our room needed some TLC. Shower door would not close, carpet squares coming up and some were not attached. Breakfast was decent. Location was good.」
