"Overall we had a great time at Airlie beach. Unfortunately all of us got a lot of insect bites- not sure if they were mosquitoes or what, mostly legs affected. Neighbours dog did poop and pee on our front lawn every morning, which we needed to remove as our kids were playing ball on the lawn. House and pool amazing."

"Great apartment with views out over the sea & wonderful sunsets. Shuttle bus was a bonus as its a good 25 min walk into the main st. Would be even better if there was an extra 4 & 6pm run. Parts of the property and the pool is looking a bit tired and neglected so some repairs & maintenance is required. Also do not bother with the on-site restaurant for anything else other than breakfast. "

"This was a beautiful view, spacious rooms, and the private spa was the icing on the cake. The only downfall was that the hill is VERY steep to walk up, and as it had been raining it was VERY slippery on the pebblecrete and easy to fall. I slipped a couple of times, and my husband did also. I would suggest a little stair walkway or some other kind of material that isn’t so slippery. "Absolutely beautiful property. The apartment has a contemporary design, very nice, on the harbor, not the ocean/ beach. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching boats arrive and leave. Simon was helpful and personable. The only negative is I didn't receive arrival information until after we arrived but we located Simon and all was good. Thanks for the great restaurant information. "Having a kitchen and washer dryer is an expected bonus. We saved money by not having to eat out all the time and wonderful to be able to do laundry. The accommodation is standard but you get a spectacular swimming pool with million dollar view of the sea. The rooms are basic and not luxurious. The walk up the hill to Martinique makes you think twice of what you want to carry up from Woolworth’s. You do get a nice, unintended cardio workout. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended....
