Some cosmetic wear on the condo and needs some tlc. No large knives to cut large items like watermelon. Some outlets in the kitchen do not work. Master Tub is very slow draining. Main bedroom mattress was worn and needs a replacement.

Great view

Everything great, just think this time of year we could have used a dehumidifier. Couldn't get anything to dry. Great place to stay though. Easy access to everything!

Old and needs updating

The Living room TV kept losing the audio. I sent a message to the host and never got a reply. It was ignored. Some of the light fixtures are loose and barely hanging. The bathroom shelf is very loose with the anchor bolts coming out of the wall. The front door trim comes loose every time the door opens. The patio door would not lock. The washing machine did not spin the clothes. So I had to wring them out by hand on wash day. On our check in time, they were still cleaning after 4 pm.

Great Location

This condo had a great location. You could easily walk to shops and restaurants. Waking up each morning to the waves crashing in is the perfect start to anyday.

Vaca with the fam

We enjoyed our stay. Beds slept good. Outside grills are not in great shape but worked. The only issue I seen is the mold on the baseboard in front of primary bathroom vanity needs to be addressed

The master bathroom shower tub doesn't drain. Couldn't keep the sliding glass door open for ocean breeze. AC was set to cold. Sliding glass door lock worked and didn't work. Otherwise it was very nice place. Would have like to know about not being allowed to keep sliding glass door open

Perfect location but needs scrubbing

Loved location but didn’t like the dirty baseboards and grime built up on floors and furniture. Would be an amazing place if it were cleaner.

Great location!

We spent most of the time on the beach and the condo was so close we could just walk out to the beach. Reasonable price for the stay. Bring trash bags- terrible bags. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels… barely provided.

Check in early-get fined Check out late-get fine 1 roll of TP or buy your own 1 roll of paper towels or buy your own I garbage bag or buy your own Don’t hang anything on balcony but no place for wet things-this is the beach Musty smell I probably would not use this facility again.

Excellent Proximity to Beach, but need some updating!

Honest opinion…great proximity to beach and food/town. However, every mattress in the condo is worn out and needs updating terribly. The guest bathtub and bathroom sink took forever to drain…and the master bathtub was the same. The shower curtain liner in the master had mildew all along the bottom too. Outside of that, no other issues. Would be top notch with a few updates! Had a great time on the beach.

Island Shores Condo 257

Overall, disappointed in this property considering how much I had to pay. This Condo is run-down, not maintained as well as it should be. Railing on the balcony was peeling and rusty. Appliances used but up to date. Icemaker had dirty ice in it and never made ice. 1 small lamp in my bedroom wasn't enough. Overall, the Condo was dark.

Great location and awesome views

Building is dated. But right on the beach and only a few blocks from the popular Hangout and other restaurants. Quite a few shops in that area also. We had a great view from our balcony and a very short walk to the beach. The unit could have used an in depth cleaning and only one TV was working. Overall we would still come back

Sleepless on the beach

This condo is in a great location right on the beach and close to food and drinks. If you plan on sleeping comfortably, don't book this condo. Mattresses are so worn out that when you sit on the bed it sinks down to the frame. In both bedrooms. It was so bad we left a day early so we could come home and get some sleep. Comforter had a swimsuit panty liner still stuck to it from the last guest. Zip lock baggies and trash under the beds with a lot of sand. One of the bathtubs was so clogged it would not drain. Thankfully there are two bathrooms. This place was priced low and now I know why. Won't do it again.

Just OK

First and worst thing was dirty dishes In the cupboard! About 6-8 different dishes completely dirty, no attempt to be washed. So gross! Secondly the garbage truck woke me up every morning around 4-5:30am!!! Insane!!!! Every morning of vacation I was woken up by it outside my bedroom window it was SO loud! And never could fall back to sleep. Don’t stay here!

Beachfront

My girls and I enjoyed our stay! Everything we wanted to do/go was within walking distance from the condo. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Ten minutes drive to Flora-Bama! Property mgmt was very responsive to my inquiries and the property itself is just as advertised. We will return!

Beautiful view

Beautiful view of the beach! Couple of things that I feel the condo needs - 1 broom and dustpan ... I borrowed one from a neighbor. There was a mop in the closet. 2 it needs knives. Steak and paring would be helpful. Close to stairs and elevator. Condo was very nice!

Great place and location!

Condo was clean! View from balcony was breathtaking! Would recommend this place to anyone. Location was great...short walk to The Hangout and several gift shops. Short drive to many restaurants also.

Older budget property

When we checked in, the unit had some cleaning issues: sand in the sheets of the made beds. Every dish we took out of the cabinets was dirty (not dried on food, but wet gross stuff). They sent someone out to clean and those folks got bleach all over my son’s clothes that were on the floor. Ruined several things. It rained most of our stay and the dish tv didn’t work and the WiFi is less than dial up speeds (.5 Mb). The solution was for me to contact the service provider and schedule a technician to come out. I didn’t want to do that on my vacation, so we went without for the whole trip. There was a tropical storm so I bought an antenna so we could at least watch the weather. When it rained, I came through the window into my kid’s bed. I found out that it wasn’t actually coming through the window, but through cracks in the concrete on the outside wall of the building. I was given this info by the guy who put a ladder up to our second floor patio. We weren’t notified he was coming. I found out by my 13 yr old daughter being surprised by this guy coming up a ladder to our patio. Then the guy seemed put out when I asked what he was doing. They had also scheduled a door repair during our stay. The AC works and it’s close to the beach. If you don’t mind doing some light housework and dealing with or arranging repairs, it’s worth staying here. Its old and run down but it’s less expensive than some of the other nearby properties.
