This home was beautiful and spacious, and a short walk to the beach with two access paths. The street was pretty quiet with little traffic, although we stayed Monday-Friday, so it may get busier on the weekends. Easy check-in at the rental company’s office which was just a couple of minutes down the road from this neighborhood. Plenty of room in the house for our 3 families that stayed. The laundry was very convenient, though the dryer took a few tries to completely dry a normal sized load. There is a dishwasher as well that’s very helpful. It was glitching some with random beeping and flashing controls, but the cycle seemed to have completed just fine. There were some beach items available for us to use, my kids enjoyed a few of the beach toys they had. We didn’t see any flags posted at the beach, so we looked up the warnings for each day online. Could have done without the jellyfish (eek!), but the weather was great!

A New Favorite for Family Vacations

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house is absolutely perfect; new, beautifully maintained, and clearly cared for by owners who take pride in the property. You can tell they've thoughtfully stocked it with everything you might need during your stay.The layout is ideal for spending quality family time, whether you're playing games, sharing meals, or just relaxing together. It’s rare for us to stay in the same house twice, but this one is definitely going on our list for future trips!

Granny's Retreat

We stayed at this house mostly for the elevator, but it's a beautiful house. It comfortably housed 6 adults and two children. You can tell that the owner spent a lot of time thinking about the best layout. The only thing that I wish I would have known about was the beach access. There are two accesses, and both are difficult to navigate for a senior. We were able to rent a beach wheelchair from beachnbuggys.com and they brought it the next day. It was very helpful! We definitely enjoyed our time at Granny's Retreat!
