The views seem to go on forever at The Colonnades 1501, where you'll enjoy a beachfront vacation experience that's second to none. Beautifully located just east of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores, this property enjoys an ideal position with easy access to top area restaurants, shops, and attractions. Take in magnificent views of the Gulf of Mexico from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large, private balcony, and enjoy on-site access to a community pool, a sundeck, a hot tub, a fitness center, and a sauna.

What's nearby:
The Colonnades enjoys one of the most enviable locations in Gulf Shores, right on the white sand beach and less than a mile from the heart of town. You'll be just under a mile east of The Hangout and Sea-N-Suds, and only a few miles further from the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf on Highway 59. If you're looking to escape into nature for the morning, you'll be immediately west of Gulf State Park, where you can go for long runs, launch your kayak, or fish from the pier. The Craft Farms Golf Club is less than six miles north as well.

We have a group that schedules a vacation once a year together. The location of this condo has great access to the beach it was amazing. We had to schedule multiple time due to the hurricanes this year. We tried this new place, the sand was white and the ocean was in the back yard. The balcony in the room and the pool was not available, (closed). When booking here make sure we are asking about the amenities. They will not tell you until it is to late to cancel. You will also need to rent a car, to go into town. The furniture needs to be upgraded, including both queen sizes beds. The condo was clean and was comfortable for three couples with plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped.

This was our first trip to The Colonnades. This corner unit was amazing! Loved waking up to those views! This condo worked beautifully for my adult children and grandbaby! Appreciated the large dinin table so we could all eat together! Bedrooms are all a good size. Loved having the touch button door lock so we didn’t have to worry about a key. Kitchen well stocked. The only negative would be that the bed linens and bath towels were so rough !

This condo entry door is difficult to use. We loved the space in this condo. Great views and it was quiet inside even with construction next to us. Maintenance never showed to fix back door handle so we had to use bedroom door.

Condo was clean and at a great location. Had some issues with the Internet when we arrived but they came out quickly to replace. Never did have a consistent satellite feed for the tv would be the one thing we complained about. The beach is great and not overcrowded. Would definitely rent again.

Pros: The location on the beach is amazing. The view from this apartment is gorgeous. The amount of bedrooms and bathrooms is wonderful for family groups. Lots of storage. Easy parking. Very kid friendly. Staff are very nice. Pool is cold in April, hot tub is nice but small. Check in was easy. It felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again. Cons: Large glass sliding door did not get fixed in time for our stay (they are working on it), ice machine did not work well. I asked vacasa questions that they did not answer, they sent a generic FAQ response. I could have called, but I did not want to take time to do this.

Good: - huge rooms; lots of space to be comfortable - great location in Gulf Shores - elevators were quick and easy - great kitchen space Bad: - furniture is outdated and doesn’t match; seems like a hodge podge of yard sale purchase - beach chairs from Ike’s service are not the full loungers, so you can’t flip over when tanning - maybe the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve slept on since church camp 20 years ago - “Barney fife” while well intentioned, comes across rude&pushy

The condo was dirty. I still cannot believe the mold that was on the toilets, bathroom sinks and shower. It needs to be cleaned! The condo is dusty overall and if something happened to go under a piece of furniture - it was so bad. And this was furniture that could of been swept under. The refrigerator had a shelf with a large area of stuck gunk. Light was so dim over a bathroom vanity you couldn't even see. Drain in bathroom sink completely clogged. Beds could use an update and the towels/sheets. The towels are worse than anything I have had in a hotel. The towels at the Hampton Inn I stayed in the night before were better. The kitchen did not have oven mitts, a colander, only 4 regular spoons with the rest being serving spoons, not even just a regular larger spoon. We loved the beach itself and the location of the building. It just starts off bad when a place is dirty when you walk in. Vacasa did fix some issues, but it was disappointing. It's no fun when your family is unhappy with a place, and the first impression was not great unfortunately.

The COLLONADES 1501 did not disappoint! We spent a fabulous week in this condo at Gulf Shores with 8 family members. The condo owners did not miss a beat, giving us everything we needed for the best week on the beach! Everything was perfect. And the gravy on the biscuit?! The ice machine in the condo. Nice touch! Thank you for your hospitality!

Overall this is a very beautiful home. It was clean and neat. We had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay. The check in process was confusing, but was easily resolved with our contact with Vacasa. They informed us that the microwave was not working, but there was a replacement one and they also informed us when someone would arrive to install the new one… this DID NOT disrupt our stay. If we had any issues they were addressed promptly. The room that has the 2 twin beds , maybe two full size beds, or a full size bunk bed in order to have more comfortable sleeping arrangements. The shower in the master bathroom had only one working shower head and the water pressure was not good in that room. A Keurig coffeemaker would be nice addition kitchen appliance. Dryer needed fixed or replaced. We would give it a 4 rating overall. It was good and comfortable. Thank you for making our trip to Gulf Shores memorable 🏖🏖👍🏻👍🏻🏖🏖
