Fantastic service and staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. Beautiful grounds but room was very cold and dim. Heating not working properly, not very warm. Although staff did check it, it wasn’t very warm and a draft coming through. Lighting in the room wasn’t working and then fixed but very dim.

"The Manager and his partner were very friendly and the food was to a high standard. Some observations, in the room we were allocated, the 'on suite' could be improved by providing a shelf in the shower instead of having to reach down to ground level for shampoo etc , and a towel rail would be useful ..."

"I had a nice single room with a view. The great thing about this hotel is it's right on the beach. But not far from the station so you can jump on the train and enjoy the South Downs."

"Large room with sea view and access to balcony with chairs and table. Room simply furnished, good bathroom. We had problems charging our phones and the bedside lamps did not work. The 3 course buffet dinner menu @ £15 was cheap reflected in the choice of food."
