Check in was so easy. They texted to say what room and you can just go straight to your room. The staff was so nice and helpful. The whole place was great. I was so sad I was just staying one night. I am already trying to plan another trip so I can stay longer.

This is our second time here and both times Marco made sure we were taken care of. He’s the best! He needs a raise! I’ve stayed at several other resorts here but this is by far my favorite. The property is well maintained, super relaxing and grounding. They have bikes to take into town which are also well maintained. Rooms are really cute and the place is dog friendly. The pool has a chill ambiance with a curated playlist. Their honor bar is a really nice touch as well. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect Getaway

We went to have a night out away from home and got everything we needed. It was relaxing from the moment we stepped in the door. We got a welcome drink went to our cozy room with a fireplace. We enjoyed the hot tub, park let and small gardens. The massage at the spa was great. Altogether the kind of relaxation a tired parenting couple needed.

A jewel in the forest.

Boon is a jewel in the forest. The amenities are way beyond what you might expect. We enjoyed the in room fireplace, balcony looking at the redwood trees and 24-hour hot tub. The honor bar by the pool could compete with any bar anywhere.

Located a bit outside of the village. Virtually in the forest. Very quiet and relaxing. Nice pool area and hot tub. Free coffee at six in the morning.! Otherwise, no room service except for breakfast they serve in the room. No change of towels or sheets. No room service. Which is actually OK, but I guess it would be OK to inform about it.

Very highly recommend

We were expecting a “hotel” but like everywhere else in the area it is actually sets of separate little bungalows for loss of a better word. Small, but cozy and clean. We had a very pleasant stay. At first we were a little taken aback that there was no tv as we both make our living doing the news, but we had excellent Wi-Fi and still managed to keep up with our station. And most of the time we were busy with family and wedding activities. There are so many things to do that are close to the hotel. The hotel brings you fabulous breakfasts every morning! It is a beautiful setting and great shower! Great pool and honor bar area! Very friendly staff… highly recommend!

Very cool place. The pool and hot tub are lovely! The only major issue were the paper thin walls in the room. Our neighbors seemed to be talking in a normal level, but we could hear everything. The room had fun things like LP’s and a record player, but sadly our record player was broken. The closet had 2 hangers. We requested more and received them. The honor bar at the pool was fun and the breakfast brought to our room was super yummy.

Last weekend my husband and I visited Boon to celebrate his 60th. Communication was fluid about check in and amenities, and we were welcomed warmly by the owner with a cocktail! What a great way to kick off our celebration. Our room was lovely and well stocked. Fireplace and record player set a perfect ambiance, and we enjoyed our back deck seating area. The entire property was beautifully maintained. We had a wonderful massage and wrapped up our R&R day by relaxing in the spa. Honor bar was well stocked. Adults only vibe was a nice change of our usual pace. Finally, after we checked out and headed on our way I received my guest statement which I had some questions about. My email was responded too quickly and pleasantly, and Marco made sure to give me a follow up call just to be sure all was well! 10/10 recommend! Thank you Boon & staff! Can't wait to see you again soon.

We booked because of the marketing suggesting serene, calm, spa like environment. We were met with building noises on the property, skill saw, blowers, chain saws. Also the property is located across the street from a lower school with recess yard, so there was that noise as well. In the evening, because our room was adjacent to the fire-pit and pool, we heard chattering and had bright lights in our room until very late. ( the bed room window is right at the fire-it area). It was too late to request a move. No sleep, no rest, no calm. We are big spa travelers so it might be mentioned it would be a real plus if the property offered an ice cream, as the heat was substantial, or a popsicle, something out of the ordinary while at the pool. The owner also has 2 restaurants in town ( wending at Boon, very good!! but there is no food on site and no access to a door dash type menu from her other properties which we thought was a missed opportunity.
