When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed for dinner and later found out the chef left and they were closing the restaurant for the rest of the year. 「We stayed for two nights in late October. It is only 15 minute drive from San Francesco Cathedral of Assisi. You have to drive up a very steep narrow road up the hill, but the view looking down Assisi is breath taking and well worth the effort. (I would highly recommend getting there before dark if it's the first time to drive to the place) Don't forget to eat at the restaurant - they serve wonderfully delicious food.
