"We stayed in Obertraun for two days while we toured the area by car. The apartment has a large living room and kitchen. The living room has a sleeping sofa that can accommodate another person, but we used it as a living room. "We enjoyed staying at this resort. We stayed in one of the larger rooms in the main lodge. The place was huge! One bathroom, washer/dryer, two beds, a living room, kitchen and a perfect balcony with a view of the lake and mountains. We stayed only two nights and didn't use the kitchen, but we can see this would be a great place to stay for a while. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant while spending the days exploring nearby attractions. Evening walks around the lake area and a beer on...

"The lake and mountains were spectacular. We easily walked to the lake from our chalet every day to swim and enjoy the scenery. We were so happy we were in Obertraun instead of Hallstatt, which was very crowded."
