"Loved the historic aspect of the hotel. Need to know that rooms can be upstairs. Pretty tight room. Bed was great, however-beware of bed frame as it stuck way out and was hard to maneuver around in room 3. Also the back of tv is exposed and it is filthy. And the coffee pot needs some good cleaning as well. Restaurant was also closed as they currently did not have chef. Apparently an ongoing issue as stated by other travelers. Roy who checked us in was super nice and helpful."

"My friend and I like to get away occasionally to reconnect and have fun. Pine Mountain Lake has always been a favorite of my friend so we decided to go just the two of us. The house was very clean. The owner communicated promptly and was very responsive. The hot tub was a great feature of the house, and we enjoyed soaking at the end of a long day. That being said, I most likely would not stay here again. The AC in the downstairs room was so loud that we couldn’t stay in the room. The other room downstairs only had a fan and it got pretty hot. The upstairs room had an AC but my friend said it kept turning off every few minutes. The couch in the living room wasn’t very uncomfortable and we never could figure out how to use the TV. We ended up having to login to our own services because not even the screen mirroring would work.I’ve stayed in a lot of home rentals, this definitely was not the worst. It was by far one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. It just didn’t meet the expectations that we had."

"Had so much fun on our trip! Staying at this amazing home was part of it. First it is so adorably decorated. It has everything you need (home away from home). Each room was very clean. Kitchen had everything necessary to cook. Loved enjoying time on the deck in the evenings. Our host Buffy was incredible!! Answered my many questions before, during, and after our stay. LOVED her :) Oh and my 2 little french bulldogs loved it too. I would recommend this home to anyone and will definitely come again."

"This is a lovely cabin set back off the main road with all the amenities. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the large deck has ample comfortable seating. The beds are quite comfortable. When there was an unexpected problem with the air conditioning, the owner was very receptive and attended to the problem promptly and personally. We would definitely return to this rental."

"Excellent accommodation, very comfortable furniture and definitely walkable to town. House is well laid out and the 4 of us especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and all the creatures that visited . All beds were very comfortable, plenty of clean towels and bath supplies including toothbrushes, just in case you forgot! Kitchen was well equipped, refrigerator was large and spotlessly clean. The cooking tools were adequate- could use a few additional pieces such as a good chopping knife, spatula, and serving utensils/ platters. The Keurig coffee machine was thoughtfully pre-stocked with a few pods but you will need to bring your own as well as sugar, pepper, any spices you might want for cooking. We brought along a French press as we prefer brewed coffee. It was 105 during our stay, but the central air and fans were a welcome relief from our outdoor activities. Hosts were lovely and very responsive to any questions or emails. Would definitely book here again!"

"Property was really nice. Fun and well appointed. Appreciated the extras in the kitchen. Plenty of supplies while we were there. We really could have used some air conditioning with the 100 degree weather, but utilized the pool and lake to cool off."

"Very clean, lots of hot water for showering coming off the river for 8 people, very close to walk to dinner. Might have been helpful to have had a few more staples in the pantry but market close by. Would stay again!"
