It was clean, but the property feels like 30 years old with no upgrade during that period. Using the “Ramada“ label is misleading, at least to me. Breakfast was very limited, with no hot food except for waffles one might make themselves.

Pictures of Room showed a Jacuzzi tub, was told when we arrived only one room, and it was booked. Hot tub in pool area not working, key card readers very sporadic, no towels in pool area, when I called front desk was told I had to go to front desk, got to front desk and asked for 4 towels (they are very small) was told they only had 2. Phone in pool area did not work, tried calling front desk from it(safety issue for 911). Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. Heat system was very loud. My room was at the end of the hallway with a door to the outside that was used frequently. This door had no slow close mechanism, so there was loud slamming all day and night. Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part.

I believe I've already reviewed this property and the absolute a terrible experience that was had. From the snowstorm and the not plowing to the charging $50 to use a shovel to the horrendous staff that is extremely unwilling to help for accommodate. I can go on and on and on but I will not

Stay in this hotel for multiple weeks due to a domestic violence situation. The staff was absolutely terrible. Young lady at the desk wanted to charge me $50 deposit to use a shovel to dig out my vehicle after there was little to none plowing time in a. Snowstorm. Even for the days to come after there was nothing done about the condition of the driveway parking lot or sidewalks. There were multiple people that fall in including myself trying to dig ourselves out. I don't mind they helping out and being a part of getting our own vehicles out, but the $50 deposit on a shovel is absolutely ridiculous. Mind you, there were no shovels or anything to use or any staff willing to help with stuck vehicles. Doors were snowed up to the windows stairs for not cleared. I would believe that would be consistent with a fire hazard. Staff was very unaccommodating for the price and amount of time that we stayed there. I will not go back.

Room was absolutely neglected. Front desk staff was very unaccommodating, rude and condescending. There was a snowstorm during my visit. The parking lot was never plowed properly nor salted, sanded etc. I had fallen twice during the duration that I was trying to dig my car out, I asked the front desk staff if we could use their shovels. They told me that there would be a $50 deposit because they didn't want us to break them. I was absolutely appalled by that, considering the fact that I believe it would have been their job to take care of the property maintenance in that situation. Doors and stairways were not shoveled on the outside of the building, leaving us dropped with 3 ft of snow in front of the doors at points in time during the storm. I was mocked by the young lady that works the front desk multiple times for an incident that had occurred while I was there. I was fleeing a domestic violence situation, I had notified the staff of that and it was completely disregarded and laughed about in front of my face by the staff. I will never stay at this establishment again nor will I ever recommend it. In extreme disappointment for a local establishment.

I booked two rooms for a weekend getaway and was disappointed at the conditions, cleanliness and safety of this hotel. Both room floors were sticky. Chipped paint everywhere, especially in the bathrooms. Mold growth in bathroom walls. Ceiling leaking with a trash bin collecting water right next to my door. To enter through the side doors of the hotels were unlocked that anyone could get in the building. On our first night stay someone was arguing in a room shortly after the fire alarm went off at around 12:50 am, we all had to exit the hotel. Apparently a guest broke a sensor off the wall! The sensor remained on the floor for the whole day. Also forgot to mention that my first night shower was unpleasant due to the hot water temp was like warm! I do not recommend anyone to stay at this location. I do recommend the Indian restaurant at this location the food was delicious! A little pricey but delicious!

I was very disappointed with my stay at this Ramada. The hotel had a strong unpleasant smell as soon as we arrived, and the room did not feel clean. The bed sheets were damaged and looked burned, which was unacceptable. The pool was also very underwhelming and nothing like what is shown online. Overall, the pictures on Expedia are misleading — the hotel is much smaller in person and feels more like a cheap motel. Honestly, Motel 6 would be a better option than this location. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Property was not plowed well, parking lot and walkways for very dangerous. Water would not go down in our sink. Breakfast didn't end until 10 am but when we went down at 9:25 there was hardly any food and no one there to replenish or help.

The property was experiencing some construction issues which were not properly secured and we ended up walking right through the area. The elevator didn't work and there was no way for a person with a disability to get to the food or the second floor. The staff didn't even inform us about the issues. The bathroom needed updating as well. Just disappointed in the property, however, the staff was so polite and nice.

Everything was terrible, there were even cockroaches in the hotel room. It wasn't what my family and I expected, but the service was awful too. The coffee maker didn't work; I asked for an extra one and they didn't give it to me.

I left the words Ramada by Wyndham makes you think this hotel was clean & updated. This was not the case. I wouldn't recommend or stay at this hotel again. The staff and atmosphere gave off unpleasant vibes. I am happy we only stayed 1 night.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The room was freezing, the pillows were awful, and the AC made a loud noise every 10 minutes all night, making it impossible to sleep. This stay was a complete waste of time and money. I paid to be uncomfortable and frustrated. I should be refunded for this terrible experience. Do not recommend Ramada in Groton, CT.
