"We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. However, the house exceeded our expectations being warm, comfortable and had everything you could need - really high quality furnishings etc. Fantastic views from the house and the patio area and walks from the doorstep. "We loved this cozy cottage. Quiet and clean. It looks just like the pictures. My wife's favorite spot was the sitting area in the bedroom window. She sat and read enjoyed the sea view. By the end of our stay we had drove all around Isle of Skye. Felt very safe when the storm Floris came through. The house never creaked once. We loved this beautiful countryside and have many pictures and memories to take with us. Thank you for sharing your cottage made our 40th Anniversary a great one."

The Outer Hebrides were better than we imagined. I definitely recommend the hike around the island of Scalpay which you can do right from the house, including a visit to the lighthouse, a definite highlight. The most magnificent beaches are only a short drive away. I hope we can return! And when we do, we will definitely stay here. "
