Deer Shepherds Hut - a holiday let that sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

"Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay."

"Our Cosy Double was as advertised -small but well furnished and equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean. We had a lovely view of the extensive gardens. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and freshly prepared and great service too. We also had a meal in the bar and that too was very good. The gardens are delightful and we walked around them many times and it was a real bonus to have several sightings of the deer. A small negative was that we had not realised that there are some EV chargers tucked away at the very back of the car park, as there is no information on this on the website or booking form and it was not mentioned to us at any point. Only late in our stay did we become aware of this. Process for using them is also a bit clunky - you have to plug in and ask reception to activate and the fee is a bit steep £20 for 24hrs if you are just wanting to top up. Nevertheless we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend the hotel."

"Everything was perfect for my post operation recovery. The hosts left us to it which I really needed but made us feel we could get in touch if we needed. The place was beautiful, surroundings were stunning. Made 2 new best friends who I’m going to miss (sheep ). The property was perfect for the surgery, big wet room, all in one level and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you guys so much "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dairy Barn for our Babymoon! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch & provided us with apple juice, bread, eggs, fresh butter & some preserves. Only thing to note is dogs can easily escape or enter the enclosed garden. We have a small dog and he managed to escape multiple times so we found ourselves having to block all escape routes, then larger dogs easily entered and exited the garden using a low wall. Other than this we had absolutely no issues at all!"

"A wonderful property set in a lovely, quiet location that is within just 3 or 4 miles of Tunbridge Wells.It has everything that you need with plenty of space for a comfortable stay.Antony and Christine are a delightful and approachable couple who couldn't be more helpful."
