"Pros: I had a very good stay in the hotel. Very clean thanks to the cleaning ladies they organized everything in the room like a 5 star hotel everyday. The breakfast was very good. Lawrence in the breakfast area gave guests very good customer service. The hotel located very close to the ferry and bus station. Cons: the only thing that made me disappointed was the poor wifi connection, I literally could connect to the wifi for about 10 mins daily and get disconnected after. I shared this problem...

We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. "This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. "The appartment is very spacy, clean, well equipped and also very cosy. Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs. The garden is also very large and has a magnificent view on the lake and mountains."

"This is a property with a beautiful view of Lake Como. It was nice to meet Paulo and his father. Paulo was very friendly and helpful. The house was well kept and ideal for us and our daughter. It was very hot when we were there but the cooling unit in the bedroom helped. Gravedona was ideal for lakeside walks,the ferry, swimming and water sports. We are all a bit fitter having chosen to walk up and down the hill from the lake to the house!"
