"What a wonderful place to spend 7 days & nights. Done a fair bit of driving through the Fjords over a couple of trips and the road up to Urke and our final destination takes some beating. Amazing place. An added bonus was getting out onto the Fjord on the boat that comes with wth cottage. Thank you Thorunn for all your help and advice which all added to making it an unforgettable few days."

"The pictures set some high expectations, but the location was even more amazing. There is a cabin behind this one, but no one is close on the front, so the views are wonderful and the area feels very private. The cabin itself is very spacious, with high ceilings upstairs and a lot of sleeping options. Great outdoor seating on the porch, and a charcoal grill. The town is super small, but only a short walk away and there’s a great local pub right on the water."

"Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und der Vermieter war freundlich und kommunikativ. Die Betten waren gut. Auch die Küche war ausreichend gut ausgestattet. Allerdings gab es leider nur eine mittelgroße Pfanne und nicht allzu viele Gläser. Der Kaminofen funktionierte sehr gut und sogar das Holz wurde zur Verfügung gestellt, so dass das Wohnzimmer jederzeit blitzschnell warm war. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war die Deckenhöhe. "If you’re looking for a place that matches the views and beauty of fjords in your mind and pictures, this is the place. The location and views are absolutely stunning. The house is spacious, private, and in a quiet area. Per Ove supplies nearly every incidental (paper towels, TP, dish soap, laundry and dishwasher detergents, cleaning supplies, shampoo, hand soap, and trash bags) so there’s no need to stop at a store on the way except for groceries. If you have a personal favorite bath soap or body wash, consider bringing that in. He is very quick and thorough in his communication, and ready to give helpful tips on airport and rental car information, grocery stores, and sights. Definitely don’t hesitate to reach out to him if you have questions. We highly recommend this rental."
