「Eine ruhige Lage, abseits des Dorftrubels mit wahrhaft traumhafter Aussicht vom Balkon, vom Esstisch und vom Schlafzimmer auf den Eiger, den Unteren Grindelwaldgletscher und den direkt vor dem Haus befindlichen Paragleiter-Landeplatz. Die Wohnung war absolut sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen konnte - und noch mehr. Es ist kein anonymes Appartement, sondern die sehr herzlichen, hilfsbereiten, aber sich nie aufdrängenden Gastgeber schaffen eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. 」

「This property is absolutely wonderful, and the hosts are amazing. The gorgeous chalet overlooks Grindelwald, and at nighttime the deck and meadow are great for stargazing. My family of 8 stayed here for a nearby wedding, and it was very comfortable and spacious. The two refrigerators was great for our large family, and the ping pong table provided hours of fun for us. I highly recommend this property!」

「The apartment studio has everything you need for your stay and comfort and it is very clean. Communication with the host Andreas was very easy and he was very responsive to any questions. The view from the balcony of the Eiger is breathtaking, we couldn't get enough of it. You can walk down to the center of Grindelwald in about 15 minutes from the apartment. It's a steep walk back to the apartment but there is a bus that will take you to Terassenweg that will stop in front of the Chalet. We...

「Checking was very easy. The house is big with multiple king beds, game area, large kitchen and table. Location in Grindelwald is an easy walk to downtown restaurants and hikes. I would stay here again. 」

「The pictures do not do Chalet Caramelle justice! We had an amazing five-night stay here in August 2025 and the house made a perfect home base for our stay in the Bernese Oberland. The house sits just above the center of Grindelwald. It is 10-15 minute walk into the center of town and a 25-30 minute walk to the Eiger and Mannlichen gondolas. 「The chalet is very comfortable. It is located on a quiet street away from the mobs in the central village. Ursula, the owner, was a superb host and gave us a good orientation on Grindelwald area. The highlight of our stay were the views of Eiger and Jungfrau from the balcony! We highly recommend.」

「The apartment was immaculate. It was nicer than the photos show. The family was delightful, although they didn't speak much English. The view from the patio was absolutely gorgeous. The one thing to keep in mind is the hours the bus runs (we had to pay for a taxi since we missed the bus going back). And it is a long uphill walk with lug suitcases.」

It was away from the "main" street of downtown Grindewald which provided a quiet neighborhood without all the hustle and bustle. The property owner was quick to respond with a couple of needs we had. It was overall an excellent experience.」
