"This was a totally lovely apartment. The private terrace has an incredible panoramic view of the greve in Chianti valley. It is only a few steps away from the apartment entrance. The bed was comfortable and kitchen well appointed. We would recommend this spot to any couple or single person looking to get away to call and quiet for a while under the Tuscan sun! If you get carsick, the gravel road up to the home is pretty intense. My only tip is to be sure to pack your own body wash and shower supplies! "

"The kitchen was well equipped, had a big stove, 3 sinks, plenty of dishes, a separate coffee area with another huge sink. The castle gave each couple plenty of room for privacy and yet had space to gather, talk, play games....it is very spacious. It was hard to pick where to meet up because everywhere was so nice. As a family of 18 the big dining room worked perfectly for us. I loved setting the long table, cooking dinner and looking down the table with the family all so happy. The pool was wonderful although it was not real close it was fun. It was hard to leave the castle! "
