「Don't like the hills. Staff was good」

「Professional staff. Arrived for Memorial Day weekend. Expected delays and large crowds. Everything was in good order and staff were friendly and cooperative.」

「We were placed in the second building and the room had no place to hang up any of our clothes. There was no closet only one towel rack. There were four of us staying for three days. Only had three washcloths had to go and get more washcloths ask for more coffee never got more coffee. The ice machine did not work so we had to go to the other building every time we wanted ice. No microwave so had to go to other building to use the microwave. Have stayed there before and it was excellent. If I stay...

「Amazing staff」

「They gave me a dirty room at first I told them about it and they changed it. The room they changed me to had a tick in it that bit me. Thankfully I didn't get anything from the bite. Was told they were going to fill up the pool but didn't till the day I left, almost two weeks later. And when I left I gave my keys to the maintenance guy because there was no one at the check out desk. The maintenance guy said they wouldn't be there till 8am. It was 6am when I left because I had a 8+ hour trip....

「We were concerned with several bad review about staying at this hotel. However, we had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, bed comfortable, Ellen’s staff, served breakfast continental style and a great stay; reasonable price. The only somewhat challenge to the stay was the steep parking lot. We plan to return later this fall for another stay.」

「Very clean, but difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. Very humid in room and bed was lopsided. The location was perfect and the outside was clean also.」

「I paid $100 for a room with 1 king bed that you could smoke in , when I got there, they told me that those rooms are not smoking rooms even though the website said it is, and they put me in a double bedroom, which is only a $50 room when I asked if there was a price difference I was told no, it wasn’t until after I left that I realized I was overcharged by $50」

「We actually were moved to Ozark Valley Inn which they also own. Renee the manager was super. Good breakfast. Two complaints. They had great exercise equipment, but nobody must use it because it was full of cobwebs. And if you aren’t going to clean a room with a 3 night stay, provide more than one tiny waste basket or a place to empty it 」

「I absolutely loved this hotel. It was very clean. Most hotels at this age/price tend to have some mold around the outside corners of the shower by the bathroom door. None of that here. Everything felt very clean in the room as well as the breakfast area. The sweet woman who worked in the breakfast area was so very kind and helpful! She went above and beyond-made waffles for us and threw our trash away (even though we would have certainly done it!) The breakfast was delicious! (Waffles, eggs,...

「The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.」
