Reconnect with loved ones in this beautiful lake house in Greer. Greer is one of AZ's best kept secrets. At over 8,000ft of elevation, highs during the summer typically hit the upper 70s and from November to March it is a winter wonderland. Whether you're looking for a snowy retreat or a summer getaway, this is the perfect accommodation for up to 8 people. This is also one of the closest houses you can get to Sunrise Ski resort!

This home has been recently updated with many modern touches and is professionally decorated. As of 2026 there is a brand new Trex deck and newly remodeled bathrooms. You will enjoy the quiet and remote forest atmosphere of Greer with all of the comforts of home. There are 3 bedrooms plus a loft that sleeps 2. Modern kitchen with high-end appliances. Access to a private lake to fish, paddle, or swim. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors on a wrap-around deck with a new hot tub as of 2025, outdoor grill, and dining area.

Quite and peaceful get away

The stay was super easy and beautiful views. We got lucky with an awesome snow storm and the windows in this place made it feel like a movie. Awesome pond out back and some great trout streams and some great lakes too for the fly fishers. 5 min drive from great steaks and drinks at Molly butlers and the lazy trout is a good stop for some fish info. All around love Greer and this is my go to spot to stay for now on!!

Where to begin, my friends and I had such an amazing stay at this beautiful well modern home. We have gotten the amazing experience of seeing a lot of awesome wildlife such as deer, elk, turkeys, sheep, and antelope. This place is conveniently located near Big lake which is another bonus. The home itself is super spacious and makes you feel at home and comfortable. The homeowners Daniel and Natalie are super responsive, friendly, and are very caring/accommodating to their residents.I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. I would definitely love to stay here again and will.

Beautiful home in Greer

We typically stay in a traditional cabin every winter in Greer and decided to switch it up this year. Right when we walked in, we knew we made a good choice! House is in a great location right by a lake in a quiet neighborhood and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. Its within walking distance of the Omnivores Restaurant so we walked over for a couple of beers and appetizers after a long day in the snow. Will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect Family Cabin!

I can’t say enough about how much my family enjoyed our trip to Greer. This cabin could not be in a better location- right on the lake, hot tub overlooking the water, beautiful property inside and out, and not far from Sunrise Park where we went skiing. The cabin had everything we could have asked for, and we are so thankful to the hosts for providing such a cozy, lovely place to relax, play, and enjoy the snow. We already can’t wait to return!

Nice Stay In Greer

We stayed in this nice home so we could be close to skiing. The home was perfect for our family and friends. We loved the hot tub and fire place. Only issue was out friends car could not make it up the driveway in the snow due to only having front wheel drive.

Greer weekend

We had an amazing stay at this Greer rental! The house was perfect for our ski trip to Sunrise Park Resort, just a 30-minute drive away. Communication with our host, Daniel, was fantastic he was very responsive and made the whole process smooth. The house itself was awesome super cozy, well-equipped, and stocked with board games, which we definitely enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and the hot tub was a great bonus after a long day on the slopes. Plus, the frozen lake right in front of the house made for a stunning winter view. Overall, a 10/10 experience would absolutely stay here again!

As Advertised

We had an excellent stay at this property. We were attending a wedding at Snowy Mountain Lodge, which was right across the street, so the location worked well for us. The home is as advertised. The communication was excellent. No issues getting into the home. WIFI worked great (which is nice because cell service in Greer is spotty at best). It was very comfy and had all amenities you'd expect. Truly a seamless experience for the home rental.

A slice of heaven

Our group of six enjoyed our 4 night stay. It’s a great place to unwind, unplug (no cell service) and reconnect with friends and family. The view of the lake from the house is serene and will lower your blood pressure. We cooked, baked, and grilled during our stay. The kids tried their hand at fishing but had no luck. They were entertained by the crawdads, salamanders, and even a water snake. The view of the night sky was amazing. Wild horses came right up to the driveway on two occasions. We loved being so close to hiking trails and the little Colorado river. We saw many elk, deer and even 3 coyotes in the area. We encountered some maintenance issues which were graciously addressed by the owners. We look forward to staying here in the future.

Not what we thought from photos.

Location was beautiful and did have fun fishing and enjoying time with our adult children and made the best of it as we always do. However pictures from the description were way off and were most likely taken when everything was new. Getting into the house was difficult because the smart lock did not work properly. Every window had spider webs on them when we opened them for fresh air. Downstairs shower didn’t work because all the pieces from the spout were broken and just left on the side of the tub. Upstairs master shower was completely different from what was pictured. They took down the shower surrounding and put up a wobbly shower curtain that didn’t connect all the way around. Couldn’t enjoy the outside patio because table and chairs were unstable and the table wood was splintering. Spa was cracked and repaired with tape and was dirty. The bbq grill was very dirty and had no propane.I messaged owner if they had another tank and stated that if I refilled it that they would credit me which never happened. Beds are very uncomfortable with little pillows. The title of the property says modern but you can’t put stainless steel appliances and paint everything white including sinks and bathtubs which are all peeling and call it modern. Just don’t expect it to be some updated modern house because it is not and needs a lot of updating. It’s a big house and that’s why it’s costly but there are way nicer and comparable rentals out there for the same price.

Location is lovely. Convenient for our activities. Downside: Fridge was only working moderately well and no icemaker, although owners provided a mini fridge which was helpful. Deck facing the lake has a large hole in it. (Unsafe) Other wood areas of deck did not seem stable.

We will be back!

What a great location! My family had a great time at this house!! We all loved exploring, fishing, playing games, and it was close enough driving distance to big lake and some other hikes we did!!! It doesn’t have AC so it got pretty warm a couple times in the house, but the owners were super responsive and helpful. We are already looking at our fall calendars to come back up!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Home needs many repairs

Home needs updates and repairs and there are many:1) Fridge does not cool well. Ice maker does not work and broken pieces internally.2) Master bedroom bathroom has porcelain painted over on sinks and bathtub and it is all peeling badly in both sinks and tub area and shower curtain rod falling off..floors need refinishing in bathroom and bedroom.3) Throughout house window shades broken and need repair or non existent (upstairs loft bathroom especially has none)4) Many lightbulbs throughout need replacement5) Towels stained throughout6) needs dishes, pans and wine glasses at minimum in kitchen7) Surplus blankets and everything in linen closets need clean-up and washing and is in disarray.8) Surplus cleaning products area needs cleaning and in disarray.9) Garage is filled with broken furniture and other stuff strewn about randomly10) Jacuzzi is broken and has a piece of tape over where it is cracked in fiberglass. The lid is destroyed and needs replacement in the jacuzzi so not useable. The jets do not appear to work eitherBottom line: This home needs work to get it back in shape and needs attention in all areas before it should be rented out on VRBO. I've rented many homes and this one needs attention throughout. I wish I could have given a better rating but just too many things needed if used as a VRBO.

Great Place to Stay in Greer!

This place is awesome. It’s clean, roomy, and in a great location. Daniel and Natalie were responsive and great hosts. The pond behind the home was a nice little perk. The kids fished and paddle boarded almost daily. Very close to Greer Village and about a 20 minute drive to Eagar/Springerville. Would definitely recommend, and would rent again.
