We needed a place to stay while we visited our UNC students. This very cool downtown apartment close to campus was PERFECT! Even better than the pictures ! The space was very clean, bright, and comfortable. I loved the big windows and the balcony. The kitchen was better-stocked with dishes and utensils than most places we have stayed. The setup is perfect. We were so comfortable here! The hosts thought of everything! I was thankful for the designated parking spot. And the vibe of the coffee shop below only added to the atmosphere. For our future visits, if this apartment is available, I won’t even search for another place to stay. I cannot wait to return!
Such an amazing and comfortable stay! Definitely in the top rentals we've stayed in!Loved having the cutest coffee shop right below us and was a daily morning ritual! Would stay here again without a doubt!
Our stay was gooe only things we noticed was that there was no teaspoon which was weird and when we asked for them we got plastic ones. We did notice the filters needed to be changed above the tv but said they took care of that although unless they're gray filters they didn't look changed to us. When we went to go to cook we needed propane which they took care of right away the next day. The wall when you first come into the right could use a dusting lot of dust bunnies right there. Would have liked to have had a late check out which we've never had a problem with any other vrbo but they told us no because it's their busy season which is a little frustrating because we could see online that nobody was checking in till friday. Other than that it was a beautiful place.
The apartment itself was adorable. It was clean and well appointed. There were plenty of towels, bedding, and kitchen necessities. My only complaint was that the washer & dryer are not within the unit. The washer & dryer are coin operated and in the basement of the building (which was a little scary for women traveling alone). The VRBO “highlights” of the property stated that there is a washer & dryer. It isn’t until the bottom of the full length description that it mentions that it is coin operated and in the basement. I feel like that should be clarified in the highlights. The area is literally right across from UNC and is a bit transitional but we had no problems at all. There are several cute coffee shop, restaurants, and pub within a couple of blocks that was easy to walk to. The unit also had its own, designed parking spot which was nice. I would definitely stay here again. The photos that are on VRBO as of July 2026 are accurate representation of the unit.
