The village is very peaceful and quiet at night being about 20 minutes walk from the noisy and traffic congested sea front, so coming back after an evening out we appreciated our quiet site. "The hotel was new and modern. Had all the amenities. A draw back was a very expensive taxi ride to Taormino and back again. The area was not really in a great walkable area although we did walk to a nearby beach about a mile away or so. The hotel did not have a beach or a beach shuttle which I thought I read they did. Disappointing. The beach club we went to had beds and umbrellas at a cost of course. The hotel rep said theirs was closed but all the others were still open. Not sure what that was about."

"The hotel state that parking is available across the st. but upon arrival the receptionist informed us to park few blocks from the location (approx. 250 M) ,and that if you find a parking, Also the Bar doesn't have JW Black Label or Chivas whiskey, when ask why, he claimed that the Marriott did not supply him with the products. the staff on the front disk are not helpful at all."
