He tried, via google translate to tell us he would clean the rooms.. but in the end we had to ask for it… that ment ‘making our beds’ but not cleaning the floor or taking out the trash or restocking toiletpaper, etc. Also the shower cabin was so small, thet it would only fit a child. "We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!"

"Really good location. I liked the style of the B&B, nice shower. We particularly liked the top floor seating area available to use and look out over the beach and town. The breakfast was lovely, buffet style and great coffee made to order, and special mention to the polenta cake. Host went out of her way to be helpful and friendly. Comms were great. Would recommend the b&b and the town generally."

"It was a beautiful area, near the beach and cable car which takes you up to the city. The only issue I had was the mattress was really overly firm for my liking, but that was my preference. The breakfast was wonderful and sitting on the veranda and looking over the water completed the visit."
