Amazing view - if stairs are not a problem for you

This property should note for everybody STAIRS STAIRS STAIRS everywhere and all the time! For people who are not well-moveable absolutely unsuitable accommodation :( For others - amazing view from every room :)) Also there is problem with parking. So this property should not announce that there is parking available. It is not true for everybody. We came in winter and heating was not working, so there was very cold in a room.

Très belle vue mais un peu vieillot

Situé dans les hauteurs de Taormine avec un accès en 10 min à pieds au centre ville par les escaliers. Une magnifique vue sur l’Etna. Chambre basique avec une salle de bain un peu vieillote et une pression faible dans la douche.

Amazing stay at villa Greta! You can see all!

Amazing location. Although difficult to reach close to the top of the mountain, on the way to Castelmola, has wonderful rooms with terrace and nice view. It is not you regular hotel. Built in a rock it's a hilly hotel! But great! Nice buffet Italian breakfast! all rooms very clean, good TV and powerful reliable WiFi!

Tolles Hotel in Taormina!

Wünderschönes, süßes Hotel in bester Hanglage in Taormina. Man läuft 5-10 min zur Haupteinkaufsstraße ein paar Treppen hinunter und schon ist man mitten im Geschehen. Das Hotel ist schön und „Italienisch“ eingerichtet und supersauber!!! Die Hanglage lässt es etwas verwinkelt sein aber das macht einen großen Charme aus! Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Ätna und das eigene Restaurant ist excellent. Da wir während unseres Aufenthalts immer vor dem regulären Frühstück das Hotel verlassen haben, wurde uns jeden Abend ein Tablett mit Frühstück bereits ins Zimmer gebracht! Toller Service, nettes Personal und auf jeden Fall meine erste Wahl, sollte ich nochmal naja Taormina kommen....

Beautiful place. Hotel was great. My only 2 complaints were that water in the shower didn't get hot,just lukewarm, and the bed was hard/uncomfortable. The view from the window was great. Hotel staff excellent. Safe area but have to walk up steep hill, stairs to get to hotel and room.

Soddisfatti di tuttoun,eccetto per la logistica in quanto la viabilità risulta proibitiva e persino impraticabile per una persona anziana o con qualche problema di deambulazione. Occorre salire una rampa di scale lunga e impervia peril raggiungere la struttura infatti abbiamo dovuto servircifare di un taxi per spostarci.

Preiswert in Nähe Ortszentrum mit tollem Blick

Neben der super Lage (Parkplatz an Straße mit vergleichsweise bequemem Zugang vom oberen Eingang, der nicht der postalischen Adresse entspricht - vorher unbedingt erfragen!) leider sehr abgeranzte Badausstattung mit Insektenbefall (Dezember!); man darf nirgends genau hinschauen. Sehr unprofessionelle Rechnungslegung (vergessene und verwechselte Posten wurden mitreisenden Freunden präsentiert, statt mit dem Hauptreisenden und Zahlenden zu klären - 3 Anläufe notwendig, bis alles stimmte - sehr unangenehm in Bezug auf Diskretion). Restaurant akzeptabel, aber ortsüblich völlig überteuert. Frühstück - naja: billig, abgepackt, löslicher Kaffee ... 2 Sterne sind ok, aber auch kein halber mehr.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel mit Blick

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Greta (deutsch-italienische Leitung) war wunderschön, es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal war immer aufmerksam und sehr bemüht, die Sauberkeit verdient ebenfalls 5 Sterne, die Zimmer haben einen tollen Blick über die Küste, das Meer und den Etna! Besonders das Frühstück war reichlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt auf Sizilien in diesem Hotel wirklich sehr genossen. Da das Hotel am Hang liegt, erfordert der Treppenaufstieg ca. eine viertel Stunde, belohnt wird man durch die tolle Aussicht. Außerdem fährt direkt vor dem Hotel regelmäßig ein Bus rauf und runter von/ bis Taormina Bzw. auch direkt runter an den Strand.

Vue de rêve, services corrects

Une vue de rêve sur Taormina et sur la côte Est de la Sicile depuis les chambres et le restaurant. Services corrects sans être irréprochables. Pas de WIFI (ou aucune info dispo à ce sujet), pas de livret d'accueil dans la chambre comme cela se fait souvent dans les hôtels, pas de bouteilles d'eau offertes, eau chaude un peu juste si les voisins se douchent en même temps. Petit déj correct, assez basique. Accueil néanmoins agréable.

The hotel room was very lovely, clean and modern with of course amazing views over Etna. We were greeted nicely to the hotel. Please note that unless you plan on taking a lot of taxis, and are less mobile, the hotel is only accessible via some very steep stairs from the town. What let the hotel down for us was the complete lack of sound insulation between rooms. Wearing headphones at 1am trying to block out noisy neighbours ruined the experience for us. However the place is a good price and could suit people not bothered by this sort of thing!

Budget Friendly Hotel With Amazing Views

Nice hotel with greats views over Etna and the sea. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffé was small but very tasty. I would really recommend this place if you prefer a calm place with great views. Great price!
