Wonderful time in a beautiful cabin

The property was gorgeous, had plenty of room, and was very cozy. We cooked some great meals using the well equipped barbecue and kitchen, enjoyed the scenery, and made good use of the ping pong table and poker set. The check in and out process was seamless. 10/10

Beautiful Property

The location was perfect for what we wanted. Close enough to outlying small towns to go to when we wanted and secluded enough when we didn’t. The house is beautiful with everything you need for a fun weekend with friends and family. Highly recommended.

Love our lakeside retreat!

This was our third time visiting this lake house, and we absolutely love it here. Liam, one of the hosts, was incredibly prompt and helpful in communicating with me as questions arose. It is obvious that they take customer service seriously and treat their guests with care and respect. The place was immaculate, beds are super comfortable, entire house well-equipped for an effortless stay, and the view is incredible. I definitely recommend visiting this beautiful lakeside getaway! We can’t wait to go back next year.

The house is beautiful. Huge. There’s also so much land. There’s a bunch of little grassy areas that were good for bocce, catch, soccer. The front pond the owners have clearly done a lot of work to clean up, and it no longer has the algae you see in some of the listing photos. The bathrooms were nicely done. Though note only the two ensuites have showers, so anyone sleeping in the basement has to use one of those to bathe. The porch is amazing to just sit and read and enjoy the deer as they go sprinting across the property, or watch the fish jump in the pond. Would definitely stay again.

Another great stay.

We had a great time and the house and property were just as great as the last time we stayed. No complaints at all. It does appear a car or something may have hit a trash can by the main road. We let the property management know but it didn’t take away from how great our stay was. We highly recommend this location and hosts.

An incredible home, gracious hosts - WOW!

This property was immaculate, fully stocked and perfectly maintained with obvious attention to detail and great care. Every detail was thought of - the incredible sound system, baby grand piano, tennis table, fireplace, wraparound porch, loads of comfortable seating and the LAKE!! It was a magical stay for our family - we enjoyed every aspect of the stay - from fishing, boating, campfire, and more and more and more. We didn't want to leave. We hope to come back!

Cabin is unbelievable the pictures don’t do it justice! We all loved it and had a great time! We got snowed in but we didn’t care! What a view! What a wonderful family trip!! Beautiful property and area. We loved being able to canoe and explore, and our two year old had the time of his life walking up and down your stairs. Lol. The view from each window was breathtaking, and the master bed was comfortable. We never wanted to leave!

Breathtaking views

This home and property is nothing short of magical. My girlfriends and I spent a long weekend here enjoying the slowness and stillness. Surrounded by natural beauty outside and every comfort and luxury inside...we left feeling refreshed and happy! I highly recommend staying here.

Review by couple who stayed at Cabin

Our stay at [address hidden] was a stressful experience. We booked the cabin for myself and my husband using your web site. The photos of the cabin and surroundings on the VRBO website were attractive and representative. However, the booking process and the fees were deceptive at best. We were not provided the address of the cabin until after we booked and paid a deposit. After booking we were informed that this was a “non-refundable deposit.” Had we known the address I would not have booked it as the address is a turn off. And, two friends we asked to visit us indicated that they would not come to the cabin because of its name. We are displeased with your fee structure. One third of the advertised fee was added to the final cost. This is outrageous! Your owners fee of $254.50 is a large hidden fee which we do not understand and did not get any benefit from. We tried to get in touch with the owner after making a deposit and did not receive a response. Your cleaning fee of $211.00 seems high considering that the cabin was definitely not clean. The outside chairs were dirty, the great room carpet was very dirty, the stairs were dirty and the master bedroom had damp linen in a pile on the bed. Your service fee of $227.00 is a second large hidden fee. If this is for the costs of your services it should be included in the rental rate. The rental unit did not have shades or covering on the bedroom windows. Even though the cabin is not close to other houses it is close to the road. I expected to have “shades” for privacy and light control. On the second evening of our stay a large tree split in half and fell across the property’s only driveway trapping us and our car on the property and forcing us to cancel our plans for the evening and the next day. (As you may be aware, there are no restaurants within walking distance of the cabin for hikers let alone a pair of seniors.) We informed the rental coordinator, Liam, immediately by phone of the tree fall. We contacted him a second time 2 hours later indicating that it appeared that the second half of the tree looked as if it would fall also. Liam said he would come, “within five minutes.” My husband spent a half hour waiting in the car for Liam to arrive so he could use the car’s headlights to illuminate the fallen tree for him. The rental crew did arrive the following morning and were efficient and thorough in removing the tree. We spoke to two of the tree removal crew expressing our concern about the 2nd half of the tree falling. Both indicated that they thought the tree would fall by itself, “within the next two weeks,” if it was not taken down before then. We packed and left as soon as the tree was removed. All in all, we were unhappy with our stay and left as soon as we could get away

Magical Home

This was the 2nd time a small group of meditators stayed at this location. Both times, we loved it. Allowed for quite mystical experiences as we connected with the land. Very communicative hosts as well. Much love.

A wonderful and relaxing get away for multi generations!

We LOVED our time here - and so did the grandparents and the kids. We were so happy with the beauty, the gorgeous house, and the hikes and activities in the area. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in more of the seasons. (we used the paddle boat a lot and it was so fun!)

Best birthday ever!

We just returned from a two-day escape to this home to celebrate mine and my daughters birthdays. The house is gorgeous, clean, and well stocked with items to make our stay comfortable. The views are incredible. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and warming by the fire. Can’t wait to visit again in warmer weather. You won’t be disappointed if you book a trip to this home!!

Shades of Awesome

A really fun experience! The house was somehow actually larger than the pictures showed online. House had all the amenities you could want away from home. Views of the ponds/wooded are peaceful and great for bird watching as you relax on the porch. Clear night skies are lit up with every imaginable constellation in the galaxy. Sitting in front of wood burning fireplace is the perfect spot to sit and unwind. After relaxing get competitive in the basement with some ping pong, walk away victorious like me!
