「The place looks and feels like a rooming house. You climb up steep stairs on dinghy carpet to your room. Once in the room you kept thinking you are on a tilt. For the price I’m sure there are much better alternatives out there. I would not recommend this place unless you are desperate for accommodation.」

「Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.」

「Quaint boutique historical property. Very clean with unique furniture. Reception staff efficient and friendly. don’t forget to ask for a bucket of ice. No fridge. Wrap around porch gives all season view of Main Street with excellent food and extensive drink menu. Two indoor restaurants and new bar to choose from all with caring staff. A peaceful oasis.」

「Very nicely updated and they did a wonderful job preserving the authentic interior. The bar has a terrific selection and the restaurant menu had something for everyone. It's not a quiet location but that's kind of obvious being at the very center of town. I can imagine during the summer months there would be quite a bit more street noise but the later it got, the quieter it became. I was in room #8 so the kitchen exhaust was below my window (which I did not open) and that put out a bit of an...
