"My daughter had a dance competition in Niagara Falls early May 2026 . Although the hotel was clean, I rate it low because of the customer service. First, we arrived at around 2pm. Yes, I know that check in time is 3pm, but I simply could not buy the story that the room was not ready. Instead of allowing us to check in, the agent wanted to give me an 'upgrade' that was, conveniently, ready, if I would add $75 per night. And to have a microwave in our room would cost another $10 per night. There was some reno going on, so access to elevator was a bit challenging. But the main reason for the low score was the excessive focus on bottom line at the expense of customer service. If I had options, not sure I would stay again."
