「Tout était parfait! N’hésitez pas à vous héberger à l’Edenbrook! Qu’est-ce qu’il y a de plus important lorsque nous logeons dans un motel durant l’été? C’est assurément un lit propre et confortable et une salle de bain très propre!!! La literie était probablement neuve et les serviettes d’un blanc immaculé! J’y retournerai sans hésiter. Ne vous fiez pas à l’apparence simpliste de l’extérieur de ce motel! Il ne reflète pas la belle chambre qui est probablement rénovée! Merci beaucoup」

「Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place. I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip! You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel....

「The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped...

「We went for a name / chain that we knew for good quality and standards. Our room was $150/night. The room smelled very musty, so we moved to a different room - same. Staff sounded surprised to hear this. Room looked clean, but wasn’t. Bathroom door was ripped up on the bottom. Bathroom floor laminate had holes in it. 「Very clean, well maintained property within easy walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor. Quiet location right beside a park. Staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Room had big windows that opened wide to allow the breeze in and a big ceiling fan. We were lucky to be there at a time when the weather was cool and we didn't even need to turn on the air conditioner in the room. The chairs outside on the "front porch" were a welcome surprise.
