「Overall, the motel is very nice. It's a little older but everything seemed to be clean and in good working order. The motel is about 4 or 5 miles from Bar Harbor which, for us, was perfect. Bar Harbor is a very busy little town and at the end of the day we were glad to leave it behind. Most rooms have an outdoor balcony or sitting area looking over the trees into the water, which is several few hundred yards away. There is a nice little pool, we didn't use it, but we saw many people...

「This is an old motel. The property seems dated and disorganized. It was difficult to find the front desk, after traveling all day this was not a good start. The photos did not represent reality. We had no view. We paid too much for the room we got and we were quite disappointed.」

「We went for a name / chain that we knew for good quality and standards. Our room was $150/night. The room smelled very musty, so we moved to a different room - same. Staff sounded surprised to hear this. Room looked clean, but wasn’t. Bathroom door was ripped up on the bottom. Bathroom floor laminate had holes in it. The carpet in main was coming apart by the entry and bathroom doors, and looked old and dirty. Breakfast - no hot offerings besides oatmeal. Parking was literally right up...

「Lovely little roadside motel surrounded by pine trees. Location was perfectly located less than 3 miles from Acadia. Assigned parking just outside of our room. Fire pit located on property. A lobster located just across the street. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!」

「Very clean, well maintained property within easy walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor. Quiet location right beside a park. Staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Room had big windows that opened wide to allow the breeze in and a big ceiling fan. We were lucky to be there at a time when the weather was cool and we didn't even need to turn on the air conditioner in the room. The chairs outside on the "front porch" were a welcome surprise. We enjoyed sitting out there with our coffee...

「The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped...
