「We enjoyed being able to walk from trail at back of property to the carriage road trails in Acadia. Enjoyed having a cup of hot apple cider and a cookie after a day of hiking in Acadia. S’mores and bonfire were nice amenities. Having the island Explorer bus come right to The Acadia for pickup and drop off was a nice benefit as well when we opted not to drive into the park. 「Excellent inn with many rooms but didn’t feel crowded even at breakfast in the indoor/outdoor spaces. Free private parking and walkable in town. Cute garden and gas fire pit outside also with outdoor rocking chairs on the front porch, and a side area for eating or resting outside.
