A modern yet tranquil retreat, perfect for families, couples, or friends seeking a peaceful getaway in nature.

Just 1.5 hours from Toronto, this modern 3-bedroom, 2-bath hideaway blends sleek Nordic design with Muskoka’s natural serenity. Situated in a quiet enclave, the cottage offers shared docking and serene lake access just a short stroll from your front door.

Inside, an airy, open-concept layout features a fully equipped kitchen, generous living space, and large windows that bring the surrounding forest indoors. After a day of outdoor exploration, unwind in the private hot tub or rejuvenating sauna, completing your retreat’s spa-like ambiance.

Step outside to enjoy morning coffee on the deck, evening campfires under the stars, or a peaceful walk down to the water’s edge. You’re just moments from Lake Muskoka, the region’s largest and most iconic lake, which borders the town of Gravenhurst.

Also nearby is Gull Lake, a smaller but equally charming alternative.

For more formal water-side fun, the Muskoka Wharf on Lake Muskoka offers public swimming, cruise departures, shops, restaurants, and summer events—and is easily accessible from town.

If you’re up for more exploration, Kahshe Lake lies about 10 km south of Gravenhurst and features a public beach, boating docks, and scenic waters.

Gravenhurst also offers a delightful mix of breweries, distilleries, trails, and local treats—making it easy to balance adventure with relaxation.

Our stay at Bethany's cottage in the woods was great! The cabin is cozy, private but not secluded, it was a quick trip to town!We loved the hot tub and sauna and we had more then enough space for the 4 of us who stayed. We would definitely stay again, hopefully in the summer the next time to see the cottage with all the beautiful trees!
