"It’s all good overall. The staff thoughtfully prepared a helpful information sheet highlighting local attractions and activities around Grants. The only issue was that the ice machine was not working."

"We stayed 1 night on our way out west. It is an old motel (built in 1950) on historic Route 66. If you are looking for very modern with a lot of amenities, this is not the motel for you. But if you are looking for a clean room with soft sheets, very friendly staff, and people staying there who are friendly and talkative this may be the place. The bed was comfortable, they had a king-sized pillow on the king bed (doesn't happen much anymore), the AC almost froze us out. They had a TV guide in the room (also not in many rooms anymore) so we didn't have to keep going through all of the channels to find what we wanted every time we turned the TV on. The area is not the best-there are a lot of buildings and hotels that are abandoned and run down probably from when I-40 took over. There are a few places to eat fairly close by and a burger place within walking distance. By bedtime the parking lot was full and I was a little surprised that that many people were there to stay the night. All in all I would absolutely stay here again."

"Spent little over a week here. It was a welcome super quiet place stay in nice canyon area above Grants. House was clean comfortable and well supplied. Lovely views from all sides and only short drive to town if want eat out or get something from store. Numerous places to visit within hour to get a feel for New Mexico area...completely different from touristy Santa Fe area."

"All amenities were there as stated in the listing.The inside of the house and yard were as shown in the listing pictures. The bedrooms had comfy beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. The heating available in the living room, the back bedroom and the bathroom were a plus. The neighborhood was quiet with trains that can be heard in the distance but far enough that it doesn't keep you awake. The backyard is great for those bringing a dog, it was totally fenced in. The house was close to where our friends live so it was very convenient for us. Restaurants and stores were a short driving distance away. Would stay here again. "
