Cozy Homestead Living in a Treetent getaway
Homestead treehouse tent stocked with everything you should need for a great getaway. Pet and family friendly. A queen size bed, a queen size futon bed, refrigerator, electric, composting toilet inside your tent. Multiple dwellings available for small groups. Wood stove in winter. Heated electric blanket to keep you cozy and warm. The shared outdoor Kitchen is right next door and has hot running water, utensils, pots/pans (cast iron), spices, oil, coffee, charcoal grill, 3 burner stove and large blackstone griddle . Eco-friendly natural forest canopy air-conditioning.
Exploration of our woods is really encouraged with our 3 miles of trails. We are situated very close to local, state trails, waterfalls and forests. We are in between Nashville and Gatlinburg TN, up on the Cumberland plateau. Your parking space will be about 70ft from the tent but an easy walk. Our workshop/home is approx 100 feet away, if you should need anything.
You have access to our private forest with its trails. Please remember that it is a forest and there is wildlife living here.
We will always be available to help, answer a question, fix a problem or get you what you need. Please feel free to knock on the office door.
It is a mountain farming community, very quiet, very rustic. There are some beautiful roads and views to walk within one mile of our sanctuary. The forest is wonderful in every season and there is always something to see.
I suggest walking around locally, but restaurants, gas and anything else, you have to go down the mountain to get to.
The wood stove is installed normally from October to May and firewood is provided for the stove. Pets are welcome, but please remember that we have squirrels/wildlife. you do not have to keep your dog on a leash, if you are comfortable with letting them roam. You know what behavior your dog is capable of, so we let you decide leash or no leash
