"At first, everything was great. Cute pool area, air conditioning was fantastic, nice room set up. We had an issue with the shower drainage, but that was fixed the next day. Communication via WhatsApp with whoever was on the other end was super fast and helpful. However, front desk wasn’t as helpful with our needs. And at times we felt ignored. "Excellent hostess with a readiness to respond to any queries. The only issues were the tv, which seemed to have a mind of its own, switching over to a standy setting every 15 mins or so and the bed. The bed, sadly felt like a rock, I and my partner found no comfortable way of sleeping on the bed without aches and pains the next day. "

"We loved our 5-day stay here. The outdoor living was wonderful, including plunge pool, and the bedrooms and bathrooms chic rustic luxury. They really should call these Treetop Huts instead of Beach Huts, the nearest beach is a 10 min walk. This side of the island is quiet and away from the touristy bustle, which we prefer but others may not. Highly recommend if it’s your thing!"

Das Personal war durchweg ausgesprochen freundlich und der Service sehr aufmerksam und immer sofort verfügbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant, ansonsten benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Für Familien oder auch zwei befreundete Paare sehr zu empfehlen!"

"We stayed at Islander Hotel for 5 nights. While check-in was pleasant, the overall experience was disappointing for the price. Cleanliness was poor — rooms were only cleaned every other day, and there were no housekeeping staff regularly present. The receptionist was friendly at first but largely unhelpful afterward. We weren’t informed that water supply stops during the night. While we understand the water scarcity in Seychelles, most hotels have water storage solutions — this one did not. There were also insects and reptiles in the villa, which made the stay uncomfortable. The restaurant had very limited variety and hardly any guests, so we often had to cook ourselves or travel far to find decent food. The lighting inside the villa was extremely dim, creating a gloomy and depressing atmosphere in the evenings. We didn’t feel especially welcome overall, and guest support seemed minimal. The beach shown in photos isn’t usable due to strong currents, so we had to travel daily to other beaches. The property has potential but is poorly managed. It feels like the owner is absent and the current team is disengaged. We definitely overpaid and wouldn’t recommend this place in its current state"

"Had an excellent stay at Raffles Seychelles. We got in early so they were able to allow us to stay in an open villa while we waited for ours to get ready and we were lucky to get ocean view of only for a short while. We were also able to stay a little longer in our villa upon departure as well. Everything was amazing but especially loved seeing the Tortoises, the breathtaking views, and the wonderful staff from check in to transportation to the restaurants. Would highly recommend. "
