Welcome to The Bear Lane Retreat! With 2.5 acres, breathtaking views, and amazing access to all of Grand County, this is the perfect place to rest, relax, and play! A 1/2 mile off Hwy 40, you'll find this beautiful home nestled among the trees with the privacy you won't find in the city. The home is beautifully updated throughout, and equipped with a brand new 1300 sf deck with a 7 person hot tub, fire pit, and the perfect space to take in the views and create memories with family and friends.

The best place to stay and do "nothing".

We managed to reunite our family and dogs here, and found it to be an absolutely amazing place to spend time. We did actually slip in some hiking and happy-hours at the Winter Park lodge (dog-friendly, even the gondola!) but loved coming back to the beautiful view and hot tub.

Overall fantastic property!

Stunning views, well stocked kitchen and games, nice furniture, and very homey feeling. The layout was great for a group of adults. Nice bathrooms and a great open living space. The outdoor spaces are great too.

Amazing place to start a new year

The Bear Lane Cabin is a relaxing place, amazing views and great place to be with family or friends. Granby and Winter park are nearby to explorer and for food.

First ever cabin retreat for Florida residents!

Our stay at the property was awesome. The views were great! The game room kept the kids busy downstairs while the parents were able to enjoy each others company upstairs. We will definitely be back here in the future.

One of my favorite stays ever

This cabin was incredible. I felt immediately at home. The cabin was so private and we enjoyed seeing the stars from both deck levels. The hot tub and firepit were amazing features and expanded the already huge home into additional space. The kitchen also had everything we needed, and I love to cook, so that's a high bar.

Winter wonderland

Such an awesome property!!! We spent Christmas weekend here. The owners put up a beautiful Christmas tree. It snowed daily, which made the view more spectacular.

Family vacation in the mountains

This property was in such a convenient location, even with snow we had no problem and the private drive was bladed while we were there. It's high enough in the mountains to have a beautiful view yet close to town. We enjoyed our time there visiting Granby, Fraser, Winter Park, and Grand Lake. It was a beautiful time to be there during the snow.

Truly could not recommend enough!!!

We could not recommend this VRBO enough!! We had to coordinate several things ahead of time for our stay and the host was so helpful and responsive with each thing that we reached out about. The VRBO is in a quiet area with a great deck to take in the amazing views. The inside is just as amazing with high end appliances, and everything that you could need was provided. The beds were super comfortable and everything was so well decorated. Our parents stayed in another house nearby with the same host and were equally as impressed with everything that we mentioned for this property. This place really felt like a home away from home, we hope to be able to visit again someday!

Perfect location and great views!

Thank you for an awesome time. The location is close to everything yet secluded and private. The hot tub is the best I have experienced with jets all over; even for your feet. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood and saw two moose on our last day.

Nice Cabin for a mini getaway.

Probably the best Cabin we could’ve stayed at for my Mom’s Birthday. The view was amazing and loved the modern style of the cabin. Definitely will book again in the future!

Cozy Winter Weekend Getaway

We were so pleased with this home immediately upon arrival. The layout, styling and views were all first class. The rooms are all great sized with comfortable beds. Very responsive owners to our questions. We had a great time hitting the slopes, snowshoeing, relaxing in the hot tub and playing games as a group. The drive was plowed early morning after fresh snow to keep the access easy. We would looks to stay again and this certainly set a standard for our next trip.

Perfect Christmas Gathering Spot

Our extended family gathered here for Christmas and it was the absolute perfect spot! Large enough to sleep everyone, but super cozy. And those views!!! We loved all of the little touches (a welcome basket full of s'mores ingredients, lots of firewood ready, sledding saucers for the kids) and don't think we had one instance where we needed something that wasn't available at the cabin. We were also only 10-15 mins away from Granby/Fraser/Winter Park, so it was easy to pop into town to grab groceries, get some pizza, or hit the slopes. Brian and Emily were great hosts---very quick in responding to questions and addressing any issues that came up. We will absolutely be back with friends, maybe next time in the summer!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

There’s a framed saying in the Master Bedroom that says, “This house is the perfect house… merely being here is a cure for weakness, fear and sadness”. It couldn’t be more true. This house is something special. My family and I spent the week celebrating our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. Most of the family is from areas around the country that don’t get snow and we were gifted about a foot of the fluffy white goodness - perfect for my 3 year old nephew to build his first real snowman and go sledding! We had a fire in the fireplace every night and Brian helped suggest a private chef for a special dinner. There were plenty of games for family fun time and the TV apps offered all the Halloween movies we could’ve asked for. Brian and Emily have thought of everything and were always super helpful with questions and suggestions from the very beginning. Brian even went out of his way to help find towing companies when my car had trouble and couldn’t be driven back to the Springs… we will always have a special place in out hearts for this place. I’m already dreaming about how special a family Christmas here would be! Brian and Emily - Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. ❤️

It was perfect for our family!

The home is beautifully renovated and well equipped for family vacations! It’s stocked with lots of games, two cozy fireplaces to sit by, in a beautiful neighborhood with incredible views, and the beds were super comfy! We will for sure stay here again if we’re in the area. The host were easy to get ahold of and very quick to reply if we had any question. They’re even mailing an item we accidentally left at the house. Check out was really flawless too. 10/10!

Dream hosts!

I don’t have words to describe how amazing these guys were!!! From the attentiveness to detail… communication before, during, after… the small touches they left for us in the house… etc etc etc. When we had car trouble they sent aid very promptly without which we wouldn’t have known what to do!!! I have never had any hosts do that. The house itself was perfect for our group!!! The kitchen and the dining area was more than what we could’ve asked for! We were able to do a private chef dinner and it felt like home to be able to seat everyone at the same time on the table!!! Thank you for everything!!! Satvi
