"Wirkt von außen sehr einladend. Leider ist die Wohnung sehr alt. In der Dusche waren Haare vom Vorgänger.Im Schlafzimmer roch es sehr modrig ( hier scheint die Wand zum Badezimmer nass zu sein). Es gab keine Matratzenschoner, was für uns für eine Ferienwohnung nicht hygienisch ist.Steht in unseren Augen in keinem guten Preisleistungsverhätnis.Die Vermieter selbst sind sehr freundlich und kooperativ."

"This was even better than I could have imagined! Beautiful apartment, so modern and updated. Everything in town was walkable. Great conversations with the host to understand some tourist benefits better. Tried the German train system some before our planned train trip the following week, made us more comfortable and saved us so much time on a Sunday excursion we would have otherwise driven to. "Got in after hours, so there was bit of gymnastics associated with getting into our room. Fortunately, the restaurant manager let us in. If you're going to arrive late, make sure to call the hotel during normal working hours to make arrangements. Didn't expect it was going to take 2 hours to get out of the parking lot at Spa. This was an amazing place. Great location, convenient to the town center. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good. Check out the restaurant in the basement (just don't play the piano :) ). Wish our schedule would have allowed us to have dinner there. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Trier (which is a great place as well)."

"Our family stayed at Schloss Lieser to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, and it was a truly memorable experience. The property itself is stunning, with each room uniquely decorated and warm, elegant, and inviting. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to help, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The spa and pool area were immaculate and provided a wonderful place to relax. The food was creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. What made our celebration especially meaningful were the thoughtful touches from the staff. They beautifully decorated our bed for our anniversary and also decorated the table for our family dinner, making the occasion feel truly special. Those gestures meant so much to us and our family. The only suggestion I would offer is regarding the pacing of the five-course dinner. While each course was excellent, the meal lasted nearly four hours, which felt a bit too long. A slightly quicker pace would have made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Schloss Lieser is a beautiful destination with exceptional hospitality. We would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent with many options - all very tasty. The dining room was spacious and comfortable. Our room was quite spacious and offered a lovely view of the vineyards that line the hillside on either side of the river. We will definitely be back as it is a lovely place, especially with children."

"The Hotel has the basic necessity. We stayed in a suit but surprisingly they don't even provide toothbrush or other items. except a body soap. And there any eatery around, according to google map, nearest is 1.3km away, So the only thing we get to eat is the Pizza ordered at the reception counter, which luckily it was hot and tasty. Other than these, the room was comfortable and the bed was firm. So it was fine with a single night stay for me."

"Our room in this hotel was "different" in a mostly positive way. The "Gulliver" room was roomy, very unique in its decorations, cool (a large fan helped) and pleasant to be in. The bathroom was up five steps and imbedded in the rocky side of the hill (hard to describe its uniqueness). All of the usual necessities were there, but positioned a little awkwardly because of the structure of the room. They all functioned well and were just "different." The whole combination was a nice experience. The breakfast was worthy, in a nicely appointed eating area. The hotel does not have a lot of amenities (no fitness area, pool, or spa), but it is well positioned in the town amongst the historic buildings of the old town. The staff were professional and helpful when asked. There is limited parking and it should be requested when making a reservation. It is helpful to have a small car, since the size of the parking spaces will scare most Americans."
