"My wife and I stayed at Melaya Estate for 3 nights in September 2025. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a private pool and direct beach access. It's a quiet area, very peaceful. The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent. We are birders and the manager arranged for a driver to take us to the Bali Barat National Park, about 20 minutes away. We highly recommend these...

The only complaint I have is how remote it is. If total peace and quiet is what you’re looking for then you will be thrilled. We would definitely stay there again if we go to Bali. It’s nice to Spend half your time in Kuta and then end your vacation in the seclusion of the Boathouse."
