The Reykjavik EDITION

"The Edition is a stylish hotel with a great design and atmosphere. However, don’t expect full 5-star service. There is no daily turn-down service, and housekeeping won’t make the beds or provide fresh towels unless you specifically request it. We had to call or flag staff each time, which was disappointing at this price point and brand level. Overall, it’s a nice stay if you’re okay being proactive about basics, but it falls short of the seamless luxury experience the name suggests."

"Chambre standard, mais très bien. Le huitième étage était vraiment bien, avec belle vue sur la ville. Toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un court séjour. Je recommande cet établissement pour sa localisation, sa propreté et ses installations modernes. Le personnel est serviable et aidant, mais les sourires se font rares."

"This is a very nice modern hotel. The front desk people were great-- helped is with luggage, found us an adapter for our USA plugs, recommended restaurants, booked us a taxi to the airport. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy. The only bad thing was the lighting. Overhead lights above the bathroom mirror and the mirror near the door put your face in shadow so you can't see well enough to do makeup. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay."
