「The view is spectacular. The pool and slide are fun and the restaurant is decent. The pizza is actually really amazing. Other than that… this place needs a lot of help. Every window screen was broken, the carpet felt old and dirty. The bathroom faucet was broken and sprayed everywhere. The hot tub jets didn’t work, the pool was probably too heavily chlorinated which made all of us cough just being in the room. But the kids had a blast on the slide. All in all, it’s a 2-3 out of 5. 「The room was a pleasant surprise. It had a big jet tub that was awesome to soak in. There was no resturant but they offered breakfast with eggs and toast. Coffee and juices. (This area they could definitely upgrade a bit) and the worker paced bavk and forth like a caged animal. Felt very uncomfortable. Nothing was refreshed in the time we sat in the designated room.」

「This motel is located between Lake Louise and Revelstoke. I went to Moraine Lake and climbed to Sentinel Pass. Golden has some restaurants including Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. Also there are several food stores and liquor shops. 」

「Cool little hotel along the river in Golden. Right in the heart of downtown with several places to eat within steps of the hotel. Rooms all face the river and boardwalk which is nice. Self check-in is handy as room keys are in lockboxes on your door (they send you a code for the lockbox). I will stay here every time from now on. Room was spacious and recently renovated. Nice bathroom, a real working bar fridge. Patio for each room. Cool place and a little gem.」

「It was alright. It’s like you’re camping with a safe place to stay. You should bring your own firewood otherwise they will charge you. But there is a lot of sticks and wood laying around you can use if you pick it up yourself. The power went out so we didnt have lights at night, but it was an adventure. I would go again later in the summer. It’s not a luxurious experience but if you’re adventurous and like to do random things you will have fun. The horses were not there yet. It was a 3/5 for...
