"Very good location central to Golden. The host was very helpful when I had to modify the dates of the reservation during the authorized period to do so. Not too many apartments with kitchen within center of town. Do not expect a five star location, but apartment is clean with all you need for a long stay; also close to grocery, restaurants, hiking, etc."

"The Lodge and Lantern had come under new management just 3 days before and they did a wonderful job! The beds were great, the rooms were clean and the people were very courteous and friendly. I would love to go back some time and see everything the new owners have done to the place!"

The breakfast had a great selection, and it was a plus that hot drinks were available all day. The host was very friendly and gave us a tour when we arrived and was quick to help with any questions. The room itself was nice - it was clean and the bed was very comfy, but the bath/shower could do with a little bit of TLC."
