Lovely stay at Woodsman Cottage

This is a beautiful cottage, well appointed and immaculately decorated. Has everything you need, with lots of little extras provided by the lovely hosts. The outlook and location are amazing. If you want a lovely cottage in a secluded, quiet setting you can’t go past this one. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back.

Perfect get away

We could not have found a more perfect place to stay. Such attention to detail by the owners made it a real pleasure. I would highly recommend this property, so close to the Gold Coast and Tamborine mountain with all it has to offer. Thank you so much Milly for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location and cozy cottage to return to after bust days exploring the region . I loved the attention to detail , the beautiful views , and cozy beds . It’s small but because of clever planning and organisation the size didn’t really matter , our family of 5 where all very comfortable

Peaceful little place

Accommodated our needs for 2 nights very pleasantly. Bonus was being able to bring our dog who settled in easily. Area at front of cottage garden area is ideal for companion dog but it needs a little more attention to areas of the fencing and under gate areas where small dogs might get through and chase wildlife. Pretty forested outlook from the rear deck. Small and cozy.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was immaculately presented! We loved our stay- relaxing by the fire pit, watching the bird life and enjoying the surrounding areas. Highly recommend this cottage!

Mount Tamborine Stay for Ekka Long Weekend

We loved our stay. We had to have our Mini Schnauzer with us. My Son and family came for first two nights. We had the best time exploring Mount Tamborine. The Grandkids loved the firepit. Coles just down the road, Milly does provide alot of the necessities. We did 4 nights. Brekky at Car Museum. Took Family to Long Rd, Glow Worms and Curtis Falls. Dinner at Fox and Hounds. Went to Eagle Heights Hotel for Lunch, view of Gold Coast. Last Day went back to Long Road to shop again and walked Botanical Gardeds. Finished with a very lazy arvo. I would love to be back (down the round to Movie World and Dreamworld)

Home away from home

This is an amazing cottage and was perfect for our anniversary. Alot of thoughtful touches to make it feel homely and welcoming. Photos dont do the place justice and it is also the cleanest stayz Ive ever been in. I will and have already been recommending this place to family and friends

Absolutely beautiful property.

When arrived at the house we were extremely excited to stay. This property had everything you could imagine. From your coffee/tea to your breakfast. Which consist of fresh eggs/bread and cereal. Thank you Miilly for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. We will definitely be back.

The very best of both worlds

We have stayed in so many homes here in Australia and abroad as part of our work. We can wholeheartedly vouch that we have never experienced such a high level of hospitality. The attention to every minute detail, overall design and incredible generosity was, breathtaking. Perfectly positioned to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the bush setting with Tamborine Mountain a short drive and the delights of the Gold Coast down the hill. This accommodation was the highlight of our trip!

Woodmans Cottage 24 was absolutely perfect! From the decore, frequent wildlife visitors, abundance of snacks, comfy beds, coffee machine and the view.... nothing had been overlooked by Milly! This cottage was the perfect escape after the hustle and bustle of tourist life, during the day! My kids loved feeding the birds and looking out onto the mountain. The location and privacy was absolutely perfect and we could not recommend this more highly! PERFECT! Thank you

Excellent Property with very Hospitable Hosts

Very impressed with the detailed instructions sent by the property owner on the location, direction to the property and how to retrieving the key to the property. Property is very well kept and clean, rooms are clean and comfortable. The fridge is well-stocked a good variety of bread spreads, milk, water, etc. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Adequate sockets around the property for use. Looking forward to return to the property again when back in Gold Coast!!!

Peaceful and perfectly set up retreat

Milly has put together an incredibly peaceful, idyllic little retreat. Myself, my two girlfriends and one of our pups had a great time here. Special mentions: the herb garden on the balcony, the food and snacks left for us, the touch-light mirrors, the gorgeous front garden, the fire pit and the modern showers.

Home away from home.

My husband and I loved our stay at Woodsman Cottage. The cottage interior was warm and welcoming. And the owners provided everything one would need for a relaxing getaway. We loved the view of the mountains and the abundance of wildlife and the chooks!

Beyond expectations

Gorgeous!

We absolutely fell in love with everything about the cottage! This would have to be one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Super cozy and extra clean. The view of the Gold Coast on the drive up to the cottage was spectacular! Little touches like the rug, fluffy doonas and yummy snacks made the cottage extra special. We had a trip that we’ll always treasure. Thank you!

Best house in the clouds

Yet the beds where even better. Everything you want and then something extra. Fireplace marshmallows kangaroos watching the clouds move all day. Best night sleep! Nicest hosts

Beautifully styled, relaxing, perfect view

Everything about this property was perfect. The styling in the house was on point and the front yard had a lovely area where the firepit is. The view off the deck was peaceful and relaxing. I spent every morning and afternoon out there. The location is perfect, being half an hour from the beach and half an hour from Tamborine Mountain. Would definitely recommend this property as somewhere to stay and visit again.

Mountain Haven

From the moment you step into the cottage, the scene and mood is already set. The flickering imitation fireplace illuminates from the lounge room as you enter through the quaint little country kitchen and dining area. From here you can already start to see how well everything has been put together, luxe blankets drape over the couches and chairs as well as the comfort of a super soft rug under your feet. From here you’ll be greeted with a bedroom and ensuite on each side of the lounge room both of which have been exceptionally styled. There’s no small details missed here, even coming down to your basic essentials in the kitchen the friendly host Milly has thought if it all. Can’t say enough how much we loved spending our family getaway here especially being able to bring our much loved dog with us too.

Don't forget your pooch

Instantly when we walked into the property Milly had a water bowl full for our girl which made her feel Welcome as well. The listing is perfectly described but it was extra touches that were fabulous! A few snacks in the cupboard, large variety of teas and coffee. She also had a beautiful loaf of pana di casa with fresh milk, eggs, butter and condiments to get us started. The boys also enjoyed the fully stocked fire pit that night under the stars. The enclosed yard was perfect for our girl to roam and explore.
