Only stayed 2 nights. There were 3 adults. Enjoyed our stay, very comfy, quite, great location (for us). Apartment was larger than expected, with a large patio, and a balcony off the main bedroom. Excellent value.

My wife and I enjoyed a 1-week stay in a 2-bedroom Bayview Bay apartment. Location is quiet but handy to the Gold Coast. Facilities are reasonable although a little dated.

Comfy & Private

With 4 young children, this was an ideal location for everywhere we needed to go... theme parks, beaches and great local shops. No elevator for those in need but a very comfortable private apartment that supplied all our household needs. Fantastic pool and spa facility too.

handy to theme parks

the hotel is nothing like the website description. it is very run down, showing its age. the room we had requires a complete restoration to 2017 levels, not 1970's. the apartment did not appear to have been painted since construction. sliding door to terrace required 2 people to open/close, due to sagging doors;we would not use the kitchen stove and cooktop because of their dirty state.the toilet brush holders in both bathrooms were rusty;the shower handle was loose from the wall,making it unsafe;all the vertical blinds had broken / missing plastic cords; not much crokery / cutlery; etc. etc.

Pros: - great location - nice size rooms - Lovely bbq area Cons - Spa temperature too cold (set at 29'C not 35'C as promised in brochure) - 1 key per room? Seriously - how are 2 adults and kids supposed to cope with that? - Pathetic outdoor furniture - Chairs cant be sat on - an accident waiting to happen

Good place for large group/family.

Easy check in and out, even though we arrived late. The unit had a great layout and heaps of space. There were definitely not enough blankets/doonas and we had to resort to using the bathroom towels when we started freezing.

Served our needs, close to family and friends, close to the function we had to go to. Had shops close, know the area well. Hotel very old and in need of clean up, room very old out dated, needs a refurb. Car car a little tricky to get in and out of.

Spacious and comfortable at reasonable price

Located at nice bayview area. The apartment was relatively big at low price. Everything was well equipped so our family had a really good time there. My children enjoyed swimming at the pool everyday. Strongly recommended hitel!

Small low-rise in good location

15 minute drive to Surfers Paradise and also to theme parks (Movie World, Wet'n'Wild) Harbour Town outlet centre about 5 minute drive. Other shopping centre (supermarket etc) and restaurants 5 minute drive. Walking distance to several cafes. We had a two bedroom apartment which was huge with modern facilities. Nice clean outdoor barbecue area next to pool. Under enthusiastic new management who provide excellent customer service and are trying to lift the overall standard.

Apartment was close to everything I needed at the time - the sports complex, Harbour Town, shops, the bay. Very friendly and helpful manager made staying a breeze.

Good apartment, but . . .

We chose this apartment because web site claimed it was serviced but no - only if we stayed 10 days at which time we would get clean sheets.. Stove was greasy, filthy and contained food scraps.but was cleaned after we complained. There was a generous supply of cooking utensils but not as clean as we would have liked so avoided using them. As senior seniors we were barely able to manage the 3 flights of stairs (48 steps) to our compartment - no air conditioning in stairwell made it even more of a battle.

The accommodation is really good.The negative side only is that no Wifi.Most of the motels they have wifi but i'm surprised that the bayview don't.

Okay apartments but small problems.

Overall the apartment was okay but there were things wrong. The balcony security doors did not work properly, the drawers had a bottom that wasnt attached, there was a used razor in bathroom and the stove top did not work properly. Nice location (quiet) and cleanliness okay. We arrived on New Years Day and no staff until 04.01.2016 but check in was not that hard.

Nice apartments: difficult out of hours access

Only complaint is confusion re actual time of reception availability. Arrival at 2:30pm Saturday was in "closure" time and procedure to access the key was complex.
