The room(s) had been “upgraded” recently. However, they must have used an inexperienced or unlicensed contractor, as the new tile was falling off the bathroom wall and the cabinets are not adjusted to easily open. The room smelled dirty. The bedspread had uncleaned spots on it and the toilet bowl had not been scrubbed for some time. The new faucet is loose. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The hot tubs advertised on Expedia have been out of service for 2 years and it is expected it will be 2 more years. Staff said they have requested 3rd party services to take that off the site. WITH 5 minutes effort, the nest of cords hanging down from the TV could be made much more today. The breakfast area was less than clean, had a folding table with a hot plate on a folding table and filthy cabinets. Variety was burnt scrambled eggs, country fried hashbrowns, cold cereal, muffins and cold cereal. Customers had to go ask front desk help for additional supplies. However, the view from our balcony was top notch. Right above the ocean with unobstructed view.

Room was pretty clean. TV did not work, went to the front desk but the friendly young lady didnt know what to do (not her fault) toilet ran most of the evening and thin walls and could heat the people next door pretty clearly. Nice beach to ealk on in the morning

The advertisement for the site features jacuzzis that are no longer in service: they should update this. They advertise that they are “newly renovated but both the window in our room And the door jam have significant gaps in them. No longer any hot tub access .. I was told that Hotels.com does not offer the option of ocean view only garden view .. ocean view with balcony does not show up on ROOM Selection options .. don't know why ... ???

Our room was pretty clean and didn’t smell bad at all and was updated and modern from the looks of it. The bed however was extremely firm and could definitely use a pillowtopper for people who can’t sleep with very hard surfaces we got the king ocean view room and the view was nice and listening to the ocean was great at the evening hours from the deck as it was only about 150 yards away or so . We were however disappointed that the spa and hot tubs were closed as it was one of the main reasons we chose the inn and it was not shown as closed on the website or on Expedia but for the price which was very reasonable we just had to get over it . I would say the free breakfast was not all good the mini fruit filled pastries were stale but they did have good quality tea/coffee and yogurt and fruit available as well as waffle making supplies we chose the yogurt and fruit as that’s what we like . But overall very decent room and we would stay again I would ask that they advertise the spa and hot tub areas being open or closed and the times and dates so people would know prior to booking. We Would definitely have given it a 5 stars if the bed was a bit newer or at least more comfortable and had access to the hot tubs .
