As the only hotel in Glenwood iowa, it is sufficient. Older carpet, very minimal continental breakfast but good coffee. The rooms have a recliner which is nice, and a refrigerator and microwave.

We came down with friends and motorcycles. The staff was very kind, they even offered to let us park the motorcycles under the canopy. Beds & pillows were comfy, rooms were clean. Breakfast was very limited, which wasn't a problem for us. Very affordable. We would stay here again.

Friendly owner

This is second time staying there the place was very clean and the owner very helpful. It was quiet place i was not woke up because of doors slamming during the night. The only thing i could recommend is repairing parking lot. i know i will stay again.

the front man was never to be found couldnt get tv to work but could never find anyone at the desk to help us and the breakfast was pretty much non existent a few items most stale was not worth extra money for a breakfast when we had to go find and pay for real breakfast rooms were clean and quiet

Budget friendly hotel that’s just clean enough. It’s apparent the owners are putting the bare minimum to upkeep the property. There was a weird hospital bed in my room as well…

The Hotel Arthur is clean and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, but there were some hairs on the bedding/sheets (we were hoping it was just what happens while laundered like it does with my hair when I do laundry at home). There is a lot of parking and the hotel is right across the street from a Mexican restaurant and just down the road is a great coffee shop. The area is quiet as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Don’t read the negative reviews for this place! It’s clean and convenient when working in Glenwood. Very quiet and safe. I would recommend more breakfast options but for the size of the hotel, it’s not needed. Prices are very reasonable. See you again soon.

Nice hotel

We stayed the night here for a vendor event the next day. It’s a nice hotel. Quick service and nice staff. We got a nice room but the beds were rock-hard. We didn’t sleep very good. But overall, it’s a nice hotel.

Room was nice and clean! The only thing we would have appreciated was some kleenex for the room. We were also allowed to check in early! That was so nice as we had a wedding to get ready for. We we from out of state, so having the chance to prepare for our grandsons wedding was great. All in all, a nice stay at a good motel.

Ok for the price point.

This was a good/average hotel for the price point. The building is older and the water filter in the room sink was clogged. Once cleaned it worked fine. The shampoo packets were older and dry. However, the room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is ok for someone just looking for a room for the night. It has very few amenities.
