It is typical Alaska. Beautiful and remote. There is a local IGA grocery store but the prices are a little steep. I would suggest a grocery run in Anchorage prior to the trip

"The hosts have done an amazing job making it a beautiful glamping destination. However the tent layout made it feel unsafe for my kids to be in one tent with us in the other - too far apart. We ended up continuing on down the road & didn’t up staying after all."
