Perfect for everyone, this Gleneden Beach vacation rental sits in a great location for activities near the beach. Up to nine guests are welcome!

This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, offering plenty of privacy - plus a quick one-block walk to a lovely stretch of uncrowded beach! Golf, dining, and spa services are only one mile away at Salishan Spa & Golf Resort, and the popular wildlife viewing and recreation areas of Siletz Bay and Devils Lake are just a short trip north.

The home features an open floor plan with spacious rooms and inviting ambiance. The living room has ample seating affront a DVD/Blu-ray-equipped flatscreen television. WiFi is provided throughout the house.

Cook meals for your group in the full kitchen, which is stocked with modern appliances and cookware, then sit down to eat at the dining table or at the kitchen bar.

Up a set of stairs, there's even a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave.

Four bedrooms accommodate up to nine guests (eight adult limit, please). The rooms feature one king bed, two queen beds, and two futons (one double-size and one twin-size futon). One bedroom even has a fun pirate motif, which will appeal to children.

From horseback riding on the beach to browsing souvenir shops in Lincoln City (just a couple miles north), there's plenty to do in the area. You could also get a massage up the road at Salishan Spa or whale watch in Depoe Bay, which is about five miles south. Go two miles south for beach access at Fogarty Creek where exploring tide pools and beach combing await!

The millers/walkers

Overall, the beds were comfy and the place was very spacious. Also, we were able to walk to the ocean and it being so close was nice. The area was nice and quiet. The neighbors were really friendly. We are considering coming back next year. The neighbor offered to take us fishing if we do and even gave us some smoked fish that he smoked himself. The kitchen was perfect to make meals in. The only thing that did not work was the fridge in the kitchen, but there is a fridge right in the garage which was only a few steps away from the kitchen and a mini fridge upstairs so we really have no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.

Generally the house, and the location, were fine. The house is fairly dated and there are multiple electrical issues that came up throughout the stay. An interior fridge that didn't work, lights that fluctuated on and off, multiple light switches that seem to have no function. Overall it met our needs but wasn't amazing.

Easy walk to the beach, though this spot did have sea fleas. The basics of the house are good offers wifi and some dvds. The lights have a rave mode that you cannot start, nor stop. Goes off randomly but not often. Interferance with the light switch durijg an episode seems to aggravate the light spirit or some and takes longer to turn off. Happened at like 2 am so maybe you can sleep thru it lol Hope they get the fridge fixed soon

spacious 2025

Spring 2025. This house was very spacious for 5 people. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, within a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is big, with counter seating and a large dining table nearby. The inside fridge was not working, so we used the one in the garage. The kitchen utensils and pots were poor quality. One burner of the gas stove didn't work. If you love cooking, bring your own stuff. The 4 bedrooms are nice: a king, one daybed, and two full sized beds. 3 toilets, one stand up shower and a bathtub/shower. The furniture was comfy, with plenty of blankets. So nice to have a washer/dryer on hand.

Finding Beach Agates

We loved the nearby access to Gleneden Beach. And we loved digging through the sand and gravel in search of agates (we ended up with 2 quart ziplock bags of agates of various size and color).

Hard Beds, Broken Appliances

The house seemed great in pictures and fine when we checked in, but got worse as the weekend went on. The fridge was broken, and the backup in the garage was pretty small. The stove had a broken burner, and the lights didn't like to turn off. The dimmer switches would turn the lights off, then a few seconds later, they'd start flickering on and off. We never got them quite figured out, and it freaked out a couple of us. There's no A/C, and the house got pretty warm. The beds downstairs were VERY hard and VERY noisy, and those of us down there didn't sleep well between the back pain and the creaking every time we shifted. Finally, the big bed upstairs had a HUGE nasty stain on it that we only found when we stripped it on the way out. Very disturbing, and if we had caught it earlier, we probably would have left. This house used to be nice, but is now apparently a very low priority for maintenance and cleaning.

Great trip

This house fit our needs and was a place we would come back to. It was clean and had the room to spread out. The kitchen was great and easy to prep meals and cook in. Some of the light switches were tricky to figure out and the TV system had some issues (couldn’t adjust the volume or turn the TV off). Bedrooms were nice and quiet and the beds and bedding were comfortable and clean. Plenty of room and was in a quiet neighborhood.

The location is the only thing we enjoyed. This house was dirty and obviously not maintained properly, dirty walls and windows, musty, moldy, broken down beds and furnishings and the refrigerator broke down half way through our stay, we'll never use Vacasa again!

Travel for work.

Wonderful property. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach. Everything was easy. My only complaint is the freezer door pops open. All in all a 5 star stay.

Cousins trip

We have stayed here before. The neighbors are kind and the property is maintained. Access to beach is close. The closest access requires dexterity and mild rock climbing skills. The beach access a couple blocks further is more accessible for all.

Family Beach Trip approved

I was a little nervous based on some of the other reviews, but this house fit our bedroom count and budget and I'm glad we went with it. This house does need some TLC and a few new appliances - the primary fridge was broken (they had a mini fridge and slightly larger than mini fridge in the garage as "backup") and the dishwasher was barely holding on. The kitchen isn't amazingly stocked, but had all the standard items and a few that can be rare - like pizza cutter and cheese grater. The blender was broken, but we didn't need it. There is definitely a lack of glasses and the coffee mugs are pretty small, but overall, kitchen had what we needed. The rest of the house, the king bed was good, and there were extra blankets in each room. Some of the curtains had broken strings so they couldn't be opened which was frustrating. The wifi was poor, but it seems average for the coast. The queen beds were older and a bit squeaky but worked for our family. The distance to the beach is nice, but the closest beach access is in poor shape (nothing the rental controls). The next door neighbor was super sweet and put some kids books in her little mini library for our family. There were kites and sand toys at the house which the kids loved. There were board games and some puzzles - with all the pieces there! Overall, i hope they replace the fridge and fix the curtains and provide the lacking items and it will be a good place to come back to in the future.

Great weekend

The properwas exactly as described. Great weekend spent with my son & his partner and her 13 year old son, along with my grown granddaughters and their husbands. We tood food, played games, went to the beach and explored Lincoln City. A great time was had by all!!!

Carpet needs cleaning throughout. Very sharpe trim on the upstairs master bath shower door. Husband sliced ankle on it getting out!!
