"Pine Trees was up on a hill in a lovely location not too far a walk into the main town. The staff were welcoming upon arrival and our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was very good despite having to wait a bit due to how busy it was. It was a really nice spot I would recommend."

"The location of the hotel is perfect. If you’re looking for grand old style than this hotel is for you. The staff were so nice and helpful. Particularly those working in the Bar. They couldn’t do enough to help us. The food in the bar was absolutely delicious and the breakfast in the morning and plenty of choice. The only drawback of the hotel is that the windows do not open in the bedrooms or the bathroom. This meant when we checked into our room, it was so stuffy it was oppressive. Also, our mattress was sloping downwards from toe to head. We only stayed there one night so we lived with it."

"There was no signage for the car park as it was through a narrow gap behind the hotel. I was given the key to the room, which I was told was through a door to the right of reception. On going through the door I found I was outside in the poring rain with again no signage. I went back into the hotel and found a lovely lady who was cleaning, who I asked where room 225 was. She took me back outside and showed me my room was in the wooden single story building opposite, the entrances to these “cabins” was around the back of this building opposite a 7 ft wall. If this was explained/sgnposted I could have found it."
