Sunset View on Lakeshore Drive

Enjoy stunning views of Tittabawassee River! 3 bedrooms (1 king & 2 queen beds) and a set of bunk beds in the sunroom, sleeps 8. 2 full baths. Finished garage/game room, gazebo, fire pit and gas log fireplace.
Close to 5 area wedding venues! Easy access off M-61 on a paved road. Currently we enjoy the natural flow of the Tittabawassee River but please note that there no good access point to get on/in the water. Restoration of the dam creating the lake is estimated to be complete in 2026.

The house was exactly as described. We found it to be very comfortable and enjoyed spending our down time there. We bought peanuts for the blue jays and enjoyed watching the birds come in and gobble them up. The 4 season room is amazing. We enjoyed putting a puzzle together out there and watching the bald eagle make it's sweep of the river several times a day. Suggestions for improving a guest's experience would be to put out some bird feeders and improve the lighting with more lamps, we are readers so we appreciate extra light. The house was very clean and perfect for large families or a group. The kitchen was stocked very well and the television viewing was great for everyone in the living room. We would rent this house again.

Very nice place, quiet and good location. Supplied us with wood for a bonfire and clean towels, wash clothes and even coffee. Didn't expect that but greatly appreciated. Would stay again.

Absolutely incredible stay! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, spacious front and back yard. Night was clear for stargazing and bonfire was perfect. Host is very prompt and gave great recommendations for the surrounding area.

We all enjoyed our stay. Clean, pet friendly, host responded quickly to any questions. Nice place, would definitely accommodate eight people and has games for all ages. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in that area!

Spacious - VERY clean! The hosts thought of everything from board games to extra pillows to a coffee station to a “junk drawer” filled with random things you might need. The scotch tape came in handy for me lol. Saved me a trip to the store. The lake view is wonderful. I can’t wait to book another stay here! Ten million stars!!

Girls weekend

We had a wonderful time they have a game room very nice. The gazebo Outback was so nice and plenty of seating, the breeze was blowing , we really enjoyed it. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining room had a nice big table that we could all get around and eat dinner and play games. The front room overlooked the river with a couple of recliners, very nice for . The house seemed to have everything we needed and then some. There were seven of us I specifically looked for two bathrooms for this reason and we were very comfortable

Relaxation!

We had the best time unplugging and listening to wildlife. Could not have asked for a better location. The beautiful fresh flowers around the property were such a great touch. The hummingbirds lived then too. We will be back!

Beautiful setting!

Wonderful place to unwind and read indoors and out! Plenty of room and nicely equipped. Beds are comfortable. Wonderful place for children as well. Had accommodations for children we did not use, but could see how wonderful this property would be for families! Dianna was awesome with all communication. Highly recommend!

Family Trip

My dad's family is from the area. He wanted to visit with my siblings and I to show us all the family landmarks and places from some of his adventures "back in the day". This house was the perfect location (close to everything we needed to see and just down the street from some relatives). The house was stocked with everything we potentially needed, and the views were so pretty. Would stay again if back in the area.

Just What We Needed!

We are four retired folk, siblings & spouses. 2 dogs. The accommodations were excellent! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful views! The water is softened, we just brought spring water for drinking & coffee & dogs. The house was very clean, tastefully decorated with many spots for being together. We built jigsaw puzzles in the sunroom, ate delicious (homemade) meals in the dining room, chatted in the living room. We even had a fire in the fire ring outside on our last evening. We selected this property because it is about halfway between us and allowed our fur babies. We will happily stay here again!

Clean, Cozy, and Serene

The property was super spacious, well laid out, and very clean. The backyard was great: excellent views of nature, beautiful gazebo, and nice fire pit. We had everything we needed, from grills to a TV w apps and bunk beds for the kiddos. We also fished in the lake and caught some big fish. We would absolutely stay here again! Looking forward to renting this place again.

Family getaway with many options

Lovely Gladwin Getaway

Very clean, lots to do in the property for all ages, hosts were very communicative, bed was comfy. The backyard area is gorgeous! My only suggestion would be to inform pet owners upon booking or in the listing that pets aren't allowed on furniture. We were able to buy a pet bed a few miles away, but we would've packed ours with us. My husband, dog, and I will definitely be back!

Great location

I’m a hiker so this location was perfect. My friend and I drove about 3-5 miles down the road until we found a parking spot and took off into the Au Sable forest and hiked for hours with our dogs. The home is cozy with great views and all of the basics for a great stay. Highly recommend.
