The south chapel was added in the 13th century. The north porch is a C15 addition. St Mary's has a magnificent 15th century hammerbeam roof with rows of angels attached to it. The octagonal font > 748803 is 14th century. The church was extensively restored in Victorian times and the furnishings date from this time, although some of the original bench ends have been retained. St Mary's church is open every day.

"Great hotel, Caroline on reception was fantastic, friendly, gave me lots of information & showed me to my room, impressive! Pool, sauna, steam rooms & jacuzzi, wonderful! My room was great, large with outside balcony, jacuzzi bath & separate shower, and amazing! Josh in the bar was awesome! Hannah at breakfast was excellent! All staff attentive, & positive. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Food was super yummy 😋😋"

"The staff throughout were courteous and helpful. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and well heated on a cold day. The breakfast buffet was plentiful - great choice of cold and hot dishes. Hotel is in a great location on the outskirts of Norwich and with free parking, we caught local taxi to get around. Didn’t use the pool this time though it was good several years ago. Will definitely return again"
