Our unique log cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests across 6 beds (7 including the trundle) and offers a warm, inviting layout designed for gathering and unwinding.
On the main floor, you will find two private bedrooms and a full bath. An open loft space features a work/game/library area, a reading nook with a collection of books, and an additional bedroom. The loft bedroom is open to the space below, offering charm and character but less privacy than the first-floor bedrooms. The bedroom is located in the back of the loft.
There are two TVs for streaming and entertainment. One TV is in the main living room, and the other is in the larger main-floor bedroom.
In the loft area, a 27" LCD monitor is available to connect to your computer or the provided X-Box system.
The living room features a Bluetooth sound system that connects to TVs and phones. Additionally, the home is equipped with an Echo Studio, a record player, and a small collection of records.
The heart of the home is a spacious, open-concept living area with lofted ceilings and a stunning floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace that creates a true mountain lodge feel. The kitchen and dining areas flow easily into the living room - perfect for family meals, board games, or movie night. The beautiful stone fireplace adds classic cabin charm to the living room and is currently decorative only. A new gas fireplace is planned for installation in Fall 2026.
Step outside to enjoy a cozy front porch with lake and mountain views. Or, head out the back to a large deck with mountain views
The house is perched at the peak of Gunstock Acres, the setting feels private and serene—ideal for morning coffee, après-ski relaxation, or simply soaking in the quiet surroundings.
Please note that during the winter months, AWD or winter tires are required when it snows.
You will have full, private access to the entire home, yard, and driveway. No matter what time of year you visit, you will feel at home because we have made a point of thinking of anything you'd need while you are visiting.
If you plan to bring your dog, please be sure to add the pet fee to your pricing. We provide bowls, bags, a crate, couch blankets (although we'd prefer dogs not go on the furniture, if possible), and dog towels to wipe off those dirty paws.
We want everyone, guests and neighbors alike to enjoy a peaceful environment. While we are happy to welcome your furry family members, please be mindful that excessive barking is not allowed. (e.g. your dog barks when you leave them alone in the house.)
We make every effort to keep our home spotless and free of signs of dogs, but please know that since we allow dogs, you might find a stray dog hair here and there.
Our house is in a heavily wooded area and outdoor fires are prohibited.
